I have an Infant Toddler Certificate, a Special Needs Certificate, an A.S. degree in Early Childhood Education a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology and some graduate school course work in Social Work. I'm seeking a part-time position and can provide excellent references upon request. See my 5 star reviews. Although I clean up the kitchen after meals and toys after play, my focus is childcare and I do not provide housekeeping, laundry or errands. I am also equipped to provide childcare in my home and live in a safe, quiet neighborhood. I have toys, books, a comfortable play space, a quiet nap space, music, movies, etc. I can also provide snacks, diaper changes and potty training. See my 5 star reviews. Thank you. I hold a degree in Child Development and Early Childhood Education and have extensive experience working with children. From 2009 to 2019, I taught preschool-aged children, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities and personalized care. In 2019 and 2021, I worked as a Head Camp Counselor at a Girl Scout Camp, where I planned and led programs to create a fun and enriching environment. In 2022, I was promoted to Program Manager at the camp, further expanding my leadership and organizational skills. Additionally, I have hands-on experience as a nanny for two children, ages 2 and 4, and babysat for a family with a toddler from 2022 until the end of January. My responsibilities include preparing simple meals, assisting with potty training, and keeping the child engaged through indoor and outdoor activities. During the spring I babysat a one year old a few times. This summer I have been babysitting a six and ten year old. I also babysat 20 month year old twins a few times recently. Working with children has always been my passion, and I am currently seeking a babysitting position a few days during the week with preschool or elementary-aged children. My goal is to provide a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for the children in my care.

Stephanie has come over a few times to help me with my 13mo old daughter while I work from home. Stephanie is incredibly sweet and polite and plays so well with her. I was truly impressed with how well my daughter took to her as she hasn't had many sitters at all, they played so well together while I worked and I appreciate her help so much. I would consider Stephanie very reliable.

Career Nanny with 25+ years early childhood experience. MA EEC Certified Preschool teacher. Parenting educator. *Fully vaccinated, Tdap, Flu, COVID. Ideally I’m looking for a long term Nanny position with a newborn. I delight in the wonder and excitement that children naturally have. I believe in nurturing and helping little ones grow and learn in a loving and caring environment. One that supports their individual needs and allows them to build on their confidence and self-esteem. To broaden my knowledge, I’ve also worked as an assistant at an in home family daycare, taught Parent/Child Toddler Play and Learn classes, worked as a parent educator, and later taught Preschool. I’m continually attending early childhood development trainings. I believe in the power of play. I encourage peer social relationships and offer experiences that spark curiosity and invite active exploration. I'm not afraid to break out in song, or engage in simple child's play. Play turns out to be so stunningly essential to childhood, it's like love, sunshine, and broccoli all juiced together. I also have a natural sense of humor, which is essential when working with children. I enjoy sharing resources and tips that I have learned along the way with parents I pledge to let children be little, fill their hearts with laughter, help them grow wings, nurture their sense of wonder, and inspire them to believe in themselves. I keep in touch with the many children and families who have crossed paths with me over my varied career, and we catch up now and then. I'm proud to have been part of their parenting and childhood journey.

Although I did not ultimately hire Nancy due to a conflict with schedules, I would have loved to! We corresponded by email and by phone and she was always prompt to reply and friendly. We did have a meeting to meet my children and I was instantly at ease with her as were my kids (ages 2 and 3 1/2). They responded very positively to her and I think that speaks volumes. I hope that our schedules could work out in the future!!

We hired Dolma as the nanny for our 2.5 year old twin daughters and she cared for them during the work days for a 4 month period. She was extremely punctual, consistently coming in about 10 mins earlier than the actual start time. It was very clear that she was full of love for the twins and genuinely cared for them. Her cooking/feeding strategy worked really well with both our daughters. She also kept to our set routine which helped a lot. Most importantly, the twins really bonded with her loved having her. I recommend Dolma to anyone looking for a nanny.

Hi, my name is Vanessa, and I absolutely love being a nanny! Working with children brings me so much joy and fulfillment. I've had the privilege of caring for children of all ages, from infants to school-aged kids, over the course of 5 years. My experience includes everything from basic childcare duties like feeding, diapering, and bedtime routines to helping with homework, planning creative activities, and ensuring a safe and positive environment for children to grow and thrive. What I enjoy most about being a nanny is building a strong, trusting relationship with each child and watching them develop their unique personalities and skills. I find it incredibly rewarding to support children in their growth, whether it's teaching them new things, encouraging them to explore their interests, or simply being there to comfort them when they need it. With 5 years of experience, I’ve learned the importance of being adaptable, patient, and organized. I’m skilled in creating engaging activities that are both fun and educational, from arts and crafts to outdoor play and science experiments. I’m also experienced in meal planning, light housekeeping, and providing a structured daily routine that helps kids feel secure and confident. I have been trained in first aid and CPR, and I understand the importance of clear communication with both parents and children. I aim to be a dependable, reliable, and caring presence in your child’s life, ensuring their safety, happiness, and well-being.

Vanessa is really wonderful. Not only does she speak English, German, Swiss German and Portuguese fluently, but she is also reliable, warmhearted and flexible. She makes great snacks and my 4year old kids eat so well with her. They have fun with her, but she also knows to offer cuddles and downtime at the right moment. She follows instructions and make the experience stress free for us parents. Our kids love her and we’re really happy that we found her. We hope that she stays with us for a long time!

We had a great experience with Julia with our 10 month old daughter. We used Julia while we were visiting from out of town. We spoke on the phone and I spoke with a reference that had good experience as well. Julia was on time, very friendly and personable and a good communicator. I’d use Julia again if I were from the area.
