Hi👋🏼, My name is Tammy and I am 47 years old, and am a mom to a great 20 year old daughter. I have always had a passion for child development, teaching, and caring for children. There is nothing better than knowing that I have, in some way, helped to make a child's life a little brighter! I've worked with all age groups, and all different cognitive ability levels. I have 20+ years of paid experience teaching and caring for young children. I specialize in working with, and teaching children on the autism spectrum. I also specialize in pre-K, kindergarten readiness, and potty training. I am also first aid and CPR certified. I have worked as a private nanny/babysitter for twins. Several years ago. Also this past summer. I was a part time personal nanny/babysitter for a two and four year old until they moved to Florida. My responsibilities included meal prep, light house work, and incorporating learning in every environment. Whether it be through play, or sitting down with educational materials and working one-on-one on age appropriate skills. I was a classroom teacher at a daycare center for several years, where I created my own materials. I also had the opportunity to work with all age groups. Starting with infants, all the way through running the after school program for school age kids. My next endeavor was becoming a "Highly Qualified", special education paraprofessional for the Christina School District in Delaware. I worked in several different classrooms over the years in their autism program. I underwent countless hours of training and education in working with individuals of all ability levels who are on the autism spectrum. I also provided respite care for several of my former students during the 15 years I worked for the program. I moved from Delaware to Crisfield, Maryland about two years ago, and I absolutely love it here! I'm currently looking for a long term, part time nanny/babysitting position. I am 21. I do not smoke or drink. I am CPR and first aid Certified for infants and children. I do not drive but I can take the bus right next to my home to pretty much anywhere with in 40 miles. My experience is unpaid but I have care for up to 5 children at a time before. I have experience with most newborns and up to 4 years old.
