My name is Aliah. I am a graduate of Rutgers University-New Brunswick, and I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in Social Work with a specialization in youth. I am looking for evening babysitting positions in the Owings Mills, MD area during the school year and summer. My schedule is pretty open, and I am flexible. I am willing to travel to neighboring cities as well. I have done multiple jobs with Sitter City so far. I have years of experience working with infants, toddlers, and teens. I also have experience with special needs and have been certified in the past to administer and pass medication. In the past, I've worked at foster homes, daycares, and summer camps, and I've done in-home babysitting jobs for family friends and neighbors. I am CPR/First Aid certified and fully vaccinated against COVID-19. I have my own transportation and can provide references. I look forward to hearing from you! :)

We can’t recommend Aliah enough! She was first sitter when our little girl was 4 months and stayed with us until she was ready to head to pre-k. Aliah quickly became apart of our family and our little girl’s best friend. While Aliah looked after her, they took trips to the park, local story times, tried fun hair styles, and sent us photos (which made our days so much better). As two parents with high expectations Aliah went above and beyond which frankly made our lives so much easier. Now that our girl is in pre-k, Aliah has offered to babysit to help out with date nights and there isn’t anyone else we’d trust to do it. Aliah is compassionate, caring, patient, and would be an amazing choice for any family.

Hi, I’m Morgan! If you ask the children I’ve cared for, they’d probably tell you I’m the one who turns ordinary days into little adventures. If you ask their parents, they’ll tell you I’m dependable, calm under pressure, and genuinely invested in helping children thrive. I’ve spent more than a decade caring for children ranging from newborns to elementary school age, including infant twins, multiple children with different schedules, and children with unique developmental needs. Most recently, I spent nearly a year traveling throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Mexico as a private nanny for a touring family, helping an infant experience every milestone—from first teeth to first steps—while maintaining consistent routines across planes, tour buses, hotels, cruise ships, and countless new cities. Whether we’re reading books, exploring outside, practicing colors in English and Spanish, learning baby sign language, or simply building a predictable daily routine, I believe children learn best when they feel safe, loved, and encouraged. Families often describe me as calm, patient, organized, and incredibly adaptable. I enjoy creating structured days while still leaving plenty of room for imagination, laughter, and curiosity. I communicate openly with parents, respect every family’s parenting style, and love becoming part of the team supporting a child’s growth. When I’m caring for your little one, my goal isn’t simply to keep them safe—it’s to help them flourish. I would love the opportunity to get to know your family and become someone your children are excited to see every day.

Morgan cared for our twins from the time they came home. Morgan cared for their needs and their emotional will being which most don't consider at such a young age. Morgan would let them know when they were being changed and moved. The philosophy was always atonomy over their bodies. Morgan provided support for my husband and myself as we navigated life with multiples and at times would also care for an additional child (with our permission). I would highly recommend Morgan for any family that is looking for a caregiver, educator, Mary Poppins all in one. The twins still adore Morgan and has had multiple opportunities to be cared for but Morgan when available.

Hi! My name is Amber, and as the oldest of five girls, I’ve pretty much been babysitting my whole life! Growing up in a big family taught me patience, creativity, and how to keep things fun and organized no matter what’s going on. Beyond family, I’ve professionally babysat throughout my adult life—caring for children of all ages, genders, and needs, including those with allergies, special needs, and multiple children at once. I’m a fun, energetic, and enthusiastic sitter who loves keeping kids engaged through games, crafts, outdoor play, and learning activities. I take pride in creating a safe, supportive, and happy environment where kids can thrive and parents can feel at ease. I’m currently looking for a babysitting position before I begin nursing school, so my schedule is very flexible—I’m available most days, evenings, and weekends as needed. I’ve completed CPR and First Aid training in the past and always prioritize safety and communication in everything I do. References are available upon request.

We hired Marissa back in 2021 when our first child was born. Initially, it was for a part-time nanny hire (we only needed her for 2-3 days/week). When we first spoke, she felt like someone we had known for a long time. Very personable, warm and honest. During her time with us, she has always been very dependable, always on time (if there ever was a delay, which was rare, she would notify me right away), and has been excellent with our 2 kids and 2 dogs. After we no longer needed a part-time nanny, she became our go-to babysitter. Marissa is excellent with handling tough situations (one child melting down, making sure the other is in a safe, contained space, etc). She makes our children feel safe and genuinely cared for. When it comes to disciplining a child, she was on the same page with us - stern but not harsh, no "punishments," connect/validate/teach, etc. We always have felt very safe and secure with our household in her hands. Marissa is sorely missed but she comes with the highest recommendations from all of us!

Hi! I’m Michelle, a Baltimore native with over 10 years of experience caring for infants, toddlers and children. I earned my 90-hour Preschool Certification through the Maryland State Department of Education and worked at Wonder Friends Learning Center, caring for children from infancy through age 5. I regularly babysat for families from the center after school hours, as well for family friends. Most recently, I spent four years at Kennedy Krieger Institute supporting physicians and families of children on the autism spectrum. While I valued that experience, I realized how much I missed working directly with children. I’m passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and reach new milestones. I’d love the opportunity to support your family and become a trusted part of your child’s journey!

Hi! My name is Jessica, and I have 19 years of childcare experience through babysitting, nannying, and early childhood education. I started babysitting at 14 years old and have always had a genuine passion for working with children and supporting families. I worked at The Goddard School for four years as a Teacher Assistant, where I helped care for children in a structured classroom environment. My responsibilities included supporting daily routines, assisting with educational activities, supervising playtime, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, and helping children learn and grow through positive engagement and consistency. My background in psychology, social science, early childhood education, and cybersecurity has helped me develop strong communication, organization, patience, reliability, and a deep understanding of child development and emotional support. Families describe me as dependable, patient, caring, and trustworthy. I love creating a warm, safe, and positive environment where children feel supported, comfortable, and encouraged to be themselves. I take pride in building strong relationships with both children and parents and understand how important it is for families to feel confident and at ease with their childcare provider. I am also offering nannying care from my home in a smaller, personalized setting. This allows me to provide more one on one attention, a calm environment, structured routines, and individualized care to help each child feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the day. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Jess cared for our two daughters and was truly amazing throughout every stage. She cared for our youngest from the newborn stage through toddlerhood and was also a huge help with our older daughter. She provided loving, reliable care, always kept us updated and made us feel completely comfortable and at ease. Leaving my girls in someone else’s care caused me a lot of anxiety at first but Jess eased that anxiety right away with her warmth, communication and genuine care. Jess is patient, nurturing, dependable and truly cares for the children she watches. We only ended care because we moved out of state. We would absolutely recommend her to any family looking for an amazing nanny! We miss her so much and are even planning to meet up for lunch next month with the girls. That’s how much our family loves her!

We've had several sitting jobs with Shontae and she is absolutely wonderful. She's always on time, and does a great job staying in touch with us before and during the job. Our boys are very energetic, and she's happy to keep up with them. The boys love having her come around and she always asks if there's anything that needs to get done with them. We love Shontae!
