Never worry about your loved ones while you are away or working. Parenting is already a stressful time, you don’t need the added worry of who is caring for your children. From me you will get that stress free, no worries, calming reassurance and comfort knowing your children are being well cared for and having fun with engaging age appropriate activities and education. Having been a nanny and childcare provider for over 15 years I have cared for children of all ages from newborn to age 15. I have various experience with multiples and am ok around household pets. I believe in letting a child be a child and having fun within boundaries and structur. I will make sure your child has the opportunity to experience what life is like through through the various stages of their youth while instilling positive values in themselves and respect for others. I have experience with adopted children, allergies as well as families who speak other languages and am able to quickly learn basic phrases for languages I may not understand.

Jasmine is extremely reliable and caring of our children (9 months and almost 3 years old). She's patient and works to not only connect with them, but educate them as well. We are so lucky to work with her.

Hi! I'm Karen. I am a devoted and loving mom of two young adults. As a former foster parent for the state of Maryland, I have cared for children of all ages and am CPR certified and first aid trained through the Red Cross. I have experience caring for children who have autism, ADHD and other disabilities. In addition to raising my own children and fostering, I acquired childcare experience through babysitting for family, friends and neighbors, previously working at a daycare center, leading classroom lessons and activities at my church and also substitute teaching elementary age students. Watching children learn and grow through engaging interaction is fulfilling and enjoyable to me. I like to occupy children with craft activities, art projects, games and puzzles, outdoor play, cooking lessons...anything that limits screen time and encourages imagination and creativity. I believe that some down time is also important. For that purpose, book reading, puppet shows, cloud shape guessing and wildlife watching would be some of my possible choices. There's surely no lack of things I could come up with to keep children busy, but the number one reason to choose me to be your caregiver is this...I love kids! They make life fun! I really enjoy teaching them and then watching them progress through their many stages of childhood. You can expect that I will treat your child/children with respect and I will nurture and care for them as if they were my own.

Karen was perfect for us. Karen was always right there for us. The boys just love her and the boys never seemed to tire of trying to show off for her. It is hard to think that we could find a better sitter than Karen.

Hi & Welcome to my profile! My name is Irene and I'm 37 years old. I have worked with children of all ages for about 19 years now. I also have several references. I truly enjoy working with kids and getting to know families. I'm also understanding of any specific rules or preferences parents or children have when they are with a babysitter. I also have lots of experience with families of different cultural backgrounds and life situations. I also have my own personal experience as well as professional experience within the adoption and foster care field. I have also worked with children with special needs before. I also prefer stable positions that match with my availability although I'm open to last minute positions as long as I'm available. I'm open to any questions and I hope to continue to meet families and be of help to them!

Rosanna is a dream. She was our nanny for our two little ones for the last 3 years. She started with us when our oldest was 3 months old and was there when we had our 2nd baby. Rosanna has all the qualities you could hope for in a caregiver: gentle, patient, firm when needed, and deeply understanding of the delicate balance it takes to raise children. What stood out the most was how easy she was to work with. As first-time parents, navigating the challenges of raising children can be overwhelming but Rosanna consistently provided us with unwavering support. She listened carefully and adapted to our parenting style, and gave us the space to figure things out on our own without judgement. Her presence was a comfort and relief and her guidance was always encouraging. When we moved, her commute increased by nearly an extra hour each way. Despite this added challenge, she graciously continued working with us for 3 additional months to help transition our youngest before daycare began. Her dedication and commitment to our family during this time speaks volume about her character and work ethic. We are so grateful for the love, care, and professionalism she brought to her role. She has made an indelible mark on our family and we will always cherish the time she spent with us. We wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a nanny who is not only skilled and reliable but also kind-hearted and understanding.

We can’t recommend Aliah enough! She was first sitter when our little girl was 4 months and stayed with us until she was ready to head to pre-k. Aliah quickly became apart of our family and our little girl’s best friend. While Aliah looked after her, they took trips to the park, local story times, tried fun hair styles, and sent us photos (which made our days so much better). As two parents with high expectations Aliah went above and beyond which frankly made our lives so much easier. Now that our girl is in pre-k, Aliah has offered to babysit to help out with date nights and there isn’t anyone else we’d trust to do it. Aliah is compassionate, caring, patient, and would be an amazing choice for any family.

Greetings! I 'm a child lover whose two daughters are grown and am not yet a grandmother (hope springs eternal!). I spent 17 years in outside sales and eventually found there wasn't much need for a middle-aged pharmaceutical rep. I found a position as night nanny which turned into being a day nanny and never looked back. I find it greatly rewarding to being able to spend my time making children smile and teaching them the skills they'll need to be successful in life. In the process, I've met many, many wonderful parents who give me hope for the future. And of course, I have the gift of knowing that I enhanced lives for a time. I'm not a spring chicken, but as one of my employers put it when a co-worker posited to her "why did you hire someone older?" wisely responded "At least I know she won't be on the phone all day." The only texts that occur when I'm with your children are the ones the parent of the moment sends me. The children I care for know they are loved and cherished. I might be a little stricter than you, but I try to make children understand that, in the words of the old Ford TV ads, "Safety is job ONE." Children are smart and they get it! I'm active outdoors playing with your children, I can pitch a baseball pretty well (my hitting skills are better, if you're training a pitcher) and I love to kick the soccer ball around. One of my kids even told me I was a good tennis player (in all honesty, he hadn't played much tennis). I love to take your children to the playground, , park, library, pool, or wherever you like. The mother of my current family had planned on keeping me until Fall of 2j022. Unfortunately, her job has become increasingly difficult and she has decided to stay home for a spell with her very special 2-year old. I'm currently looking for a full-time or nearly full-time position. However, if your needs are for part-time, I am always interested in patching more than one job together if I find the right families . Please call any day/night before 10:00 p.m.

Mrs. Avis is wonderful. After a bad experience with a sitter I hired here she gave me hope that there are some good, caring, responsible caregivers out there. My 8 month old took to her very well. We will definitely be keeping her on speed dial.

As a dedicated childcare provider, I am passionate about fostering bright futures and nurturing individuals of all backgrounds. With a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies, focusing on Human Ecology, and currently pursuing my Master’s in Human Ecology with a specialization in Child Development, I bring both educational knowledge and practical experience to my role as a nanny. I have over 5 years of experience working in various childcare settings, including schools and private homes, where I've developed a deep understanding of children's needs. My previous roles have included teaching 1st grade at Loftin Love Academy, where I created engaging lesson plans and fostered an inclusive atmosphere for all students. In addition to my teaching experience, I have provided childcare through Sittercity, managing schedules, planning activities, and supporting children with individualized education plans (IEPs). I also worked as a Mental Health Worker at Sheppard Pratt, helping vulnerable individuals thrive through encouragement and support. I hold certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid, and I am committed to promoting safety and well-being in every interaction. I believe in creating fun, educational, and supportive environments for children, where they can learn, grow, and express themselves. I am excited to bring my skills and compassionate approach to families, ensuring a nurturing and enriching experience for children.

Kel helped us out on weekdays for a month (Jan. 2022) when we were in a bind. She was wonderful and we really miss her! She was so patient with the kids (5 and almost 2) and kept them safe. She loved playing with them and knew how to set appropriate boundaries when their behavior slipped. She did very well sticking to their schedule and keeping them in their routine. My family greatly benefited from her help and the kids loved her. Her education background really came through in using different communication strategies and educational activities with the kids. I could tell she truly enjoys working with children. Don’t miss the opportunity to have her work with your child!

Hi! My name is Jessica, and I have 19 years of childcare experience through babysitting, nannying, and early childhood education. I started babysitting at 14 years old and have always had a genuine passion for working with children and supporting families. I worked at The Goddard School for four years as a Teacher Assistant, where I helped care for children in a structured classroom environment. My responsibilities included supporting daily routines, assisting with educational activities, supervising playtime, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, and helping children learn and grow through positive engagement and consistency. My background in psychology, social science, early childhood education, and cybersecurity has helped me develop strong communication, organization, patience, reliability, and a deep understanding of child development and emotional support. Families describe me as dependable, patient, caring, and trustworthy. I love creating a warm, safe, and positive environment where children feel supported, comfortable, and encouraged to be themselves. I take pride in building strong relationships with both children and parents and understand how important it is for families to feel confident and at ease with their childcare provider. I am also offering nannying care from my home in a smaller, personalized setting. This allows me to provide more one on one attention, a calm environment, structured routines, and individualized care to help each child feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the day. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Jess cared for our two daughters and was truly amazing throughout every stage. She cared for our youngest from the newborn stage through toddlerhood and was also a huge help with our older daughter. She provided loving, reliable care, always kept us updated and made us feel completely comfortable and at ease. Leaving my girls in someone else’s care caused me a lot of anxiety at first but Jess eased that anxiety right away with her warmth, communication and genuine care. Jess is patient, nurturing, dependable and truly cares for the children she watches. We only ended care because we moved out of state. We would absolutely recommend her to any family looking for an amazing nanny! We miss her so much and are even planning to meet up for lunch next month with the girls. That’s how much our family loves her!
