My name is Aliah. I am a graduate of Rutgers University-New Brunswick, and I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in Social Work with a specialization in youth. I am looking for evening babysitting positions in the Owings Mills, MD area during the school year and summer. My schedule is pretty open, and I am flexible. I am willing to travel to neighboring cities as well. I have done multiple jobs with Sitter City so far. I have years of experience working with infants, toddlers, and teens. I also have experience with special needs and have been certified in the past to administer and pass medication. In the past, I've worked at foster homes, daycares, and summer camps, and I've done in-home babysitting jobs for family friends and neighbors. I am CPR/First Aid certified and fully vaccinated against COVID-19. I have my own transportation and can provide references. I look forward to hearing from you! :)

We can’t recommend Aliah enough! She was first sitter when our little girl was 4 months and stayed with us until she was ready to head to pre-k. Aliah quickly became apart of our family and our little girl’s best friend. While Aliah looked after her, they took trips to the park, local story times, tried fun hair styles, and sent us photos (which made our days so much better). As two parents with high expectations Aliah went above and beyond which frankly made our lives so much easier. Now that our girl is in pre-k, Aliah has offered to babysit to help out with date nights and there isn’t anyone else we’d trust to do it. Aliah is compassionate, caring, patient, and would be an amazing choice for any family.

Hi! My name is Jessica, and I have 19 years of childcare experience through babysitting, nannying, and early childhood education. I started babysitting at 14 years old and have always had a genuine passion for working with children and supporting families. I worked at The Goddard School for four years as a Teacher Assistant, where I helped care for children in a structured classroom environment. My responsibilities included supporting daily routines, assisting with educational activities, supervising playtime, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, and helping children learn and grow through positive engagement and consistency. My background in psychology, social science, early childhood education, and cybersecurity has helped me develop strong communication, organization, patience, reliability, and a deep understanding of child development and emotional support. Families describe me as dependable, patient, caring, and trustworthy. I love creating a warm, safe, and positive environment where children feel supported, comfortable, and encouraged to be themselves. I take pride in building strong relationships with both children and parents and understand how important it is for families to feel confident and at ease with their childcare provider. I am also offering nannying care from my home in a smaller, personalized setting. This allows me to provide more one on one attention, a calm environment, structured routines, and individualized care to help each child feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the day. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Jess cared for our two daughters and was truly amazing throughout every stage. She cared for our youngest from the newborn stage through toddlerhood and was also a huge help with our older daughter. She provided loving, reliable care, always kept us updated and made us feel completely comfortable and at ease. Leaving my girls in someone else’s care caused me a lot of anxiety at first but Jess eased that anxiety right away with her warmth, communication and genuine care. Jess is patient, nurturing, dependable and truly cares for the children she watches. We only ended care because we moved out of state. We would absolutely recommend her to any family looking for an amazing nanny! We miss her so much and are even planning to meet up for lunch next month with the girls. That’s how much our family loves her!

Hi families! My name is Holly. I’m a recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Albany, and I’ve worked with children of all ages, especially toddlers, but I’ve also loved caring for infants and school-aged kids. I have experience as a preschool camp counselor, junior counselor, and youth volunteer. I love engaging kids through arts and crafts, outdoor play, and any kind of academically enriching activity, whether that’s reading together, practicing basic math, or exploring fun science or history topics. I have also taught a college-level course, and I find a lot of joy in supporting early learning. I’m also a great cook and can prepare meals that accommodate allergies or dietary needs. When appropriate, I enjoy including kids in age-appropriate homemaking tasks to help build independence and life skills. I’m available for full-time care, have my own car, and am happy to help with transportation. I have my CPR & First Aid certification. I’ve worked with children with ADHD and have ADHD myself, which gives me a strong sense of empathy and helps me offer structure, patience, and creative support. If you’re looking for someone dependable, hands-on, and passionate about working with children, I’d love to connect with your family!

From the moment she came for the interview, I could tell she genuinely cared about children. She was so warm, professional, and easy to talk to. What stood out the most was her willingness to jump right in and offer to start that same night, which truly meant a lot to our family. She stayed with my children, treated them with kindness, patience, and care, and made them feel comfortable almost immediately. My kids responded so well to her, and it gave me peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. She went above and beyond, not just as a babysitter, but as someone who truly showed compassion and reliability when we needed it most. I would absolutely recommend her to any family looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and dependable.

We hired Marissa back in 2021 when our first child was born. Initially, it was for a part-time nanny hire (we only needed her for 2-3 days/week). When we first spoke, she felt like someone we had known for a long time. Very personable, warm and honest. During her time with us, she has always been very dependable, always on time (if there ever was a delay, which was rare, she would notify me right away), and has been excellent with our 2 kids and 2 dogs. After we no longer needed a part-time nanny, she became our go-to babysitter. Marissa is excellent with handling tough situations (one child melting down, making sure the other is in a safe, contained space, etc). She makes our children feel safe and genuinely cared for. When it comes to disciplining a child, she was on the same page with us - stern but not harsh, no "punishments," connect/validate/teach, etc. We always have felt very safe and secure with our household in her hands. Marissa is sorely missed but she comes with the highest recommendations from all of us!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Angie to care for our baby and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. From the very beginning, Angie was the epitome of professionalism—always punctual, organized, and prepared for each day with a warm smile and positive attitude. Her attention to detail and dedication to maintaining a clean, safe environment gave us tremendous peace of mind. Whether it was keeping toys organized, tidying up after meals, or maintaining an overall sense of order, Angie was incredibly helpful. Beyond her professionalism, she showed deep attentiveness and a genuine love for children. Angie was always highly communicative, keeping us updated throughout the day with thoughtful notes and observations. She truly listened to and understood our child’s needs, responding with incredible care and patience. Our child absolutely adores her, and it’s easy to see why. Her combination of reliability, warmth, and skill is truly rare. We feel so lucky to have had her in our lives and wholeheartedly recommend Angie to any family looking for exceptional childcare.

We've had several sitting jobs with Shontae and she is absolutely wonderful. She's always on time, and does a great job staying in touch with us before and during the job. Our boys are very energetic, and she's happy to keep up with them. The boys love having her come around and she always asks if there's anything that needs to get done with them. We love Shontae!
