I have been babysitting since 2014 and nannying since 2018. I have also been subbing for the past three years and I recently graduated with a bachelors degree in elementary education. Hello! My name is Maddie and I am a teacher at a special purpose preschool for children with Autism. On a day to day basis I provide individualized instruction, work on functional communication, and social skills. I also have experience with toilet training ages 3-5, as well as teaching self care skills. My primary experience with infants and toddlers but I am comfortable with all ages. I was born and raised in Kennebunk Maine in a peaceful home as an only child. I am a young and adventurous person who is incredibly compassionate with a very big heart. For 2 years I have volunteered and worked with the boys and girls club of Portland Maine where I would work with children between the ages 6 to 16. Volunteering with the boys and girls club, I learned a tremendous amount of skills and earned a deep respect towards teaching children and taking care of them. I would often cook for the children while volunteering so I have basic knowledge of cooking as well as monitoring children and assisting them with homework. I am a very creative person who adores art and activities. I am a hard worker who is laid and likes to go with the flow.
