I became an early childhood educator because I want to leave the world better than I found it. Prior to teaching 3rd, I was a "Pod Teacher" for 12 students in Amesbury, MA from 2020-2021, and a graduate student while working as a 1st grade teacher from 2019-2020. Before my teaching career, I was a nanny and I absolutely loved it! The last family that I nannied for I met in February 2017 before graduating with a bachelors degree in Spanish from Saint Michael's College. The mother and father had a 15 month old daughter and a son on the way. I began nannying for them full time (Monday-Friday 7am-6pm, sometimes weekends, sometimes traveling on vacations with them). When I began my journey to become a teacher and pursue a graduate degree at Merrimack College in 2019, they fully supported me. This family has become a 2nd family to me, and I to them.
