As I got older I began to take care of neighbor’s and friend’s children as a part time job after school. When I started working as a cashier at a local market I would interact with kids that came through my lane because I truly enjoyed it and loved to make them laugh or feel included and heard. I had a customer ask if I would be interested in a part time job taking care of their child and I enthusiastically jumped on the chance.
