Hi my names Kat! I have been working with kids now for years. I have worked at daycares, childcare centers and been a personal nanny. I currently live in GR (Grand Rapids) and am working as a preschool teacher. I have experience working with kids that are on the spectrum or special needs. I have worked with kids age ranging from new born to teenagers. Currently have CPR training, blood born pathogens and first aid training. I love working with kids/families and have been for years. I have a bachelor’s degree in social work and enjoy working as a team with families to ensure healthy development for their children. I love animals of all kinds and I am very outgoing, caring and laidback. I also do own a car so transportation isn’t a problem. Feel free to message me about any questions you may have. More than happy to do in-person or virtual meetings to see if I am a good fit.

Katelyn H. is very friendly, prompt, and provides structure for my children. They enjoy knowing that she is coming and I feel at ease knowing she is there with them. She keeps them on task when needed and allows them fun treats like movie days with popcorn. She establishes her own rewards system to keep the children motivated and well behaved. My older daughters think she is great, too! Katelyn has become a valuable asset to our household and we are happy to have her!

Anna is the best! She was incredibly responsive, punctual, and helpful from start to finish. Most importantly, she was fun and engaging with the kids, who had an absolute blast and couldn't stop talking about how much they enjoyed their time with her. We felt completely at ease knowing they were in great hands. We would happily recommend her to other families and look forward to working with her again!

I love to have fun and be really silly! I have 3 adult children. Well 4 when you count my daughter-in-law. Who I consider as my second daughter! I am a grandma of identical twin girls! My little beauties! They are all the lights of my life! We are all very close and I’m very proud of all of them! I am a widow so my time is my own. I love children of all ages. I enjoy pets as well. I have a little pug named Frankie and a kitty named Bowdie. I’ve worked at daycares for years and thought I might try doing in home daycare. So took care of a family of five for over a year till they didn’t need me. I’m up for anything anytime! I love to do whatever the children enjoy. After all it’s all their time. I don’t spend time on my phone or watch tv. I may have the tv on once in a while for a special movie or children’s program. I do however like to have music playing at times that we can dance to and just go a little crazy! I do like to know if you have specific activities you would like me to do and what your expectations would be. Thank you for considering me as a caregiver for your most precious possessions!! I will care for them as I would my own children. With much love!! Thx! Blessings! Also I love animals, all kinds. Also have had a background check done on this cite.

Hi! My name is Laura Duda (pronounced like "Zip-a-dee-DOO-DAH!") I'm in my late 40s, and I've had the pleasure of babysitting children and supporting families wherever I've lived - from Michigan to Ohio to Houston, Texas. Originally from Detroit, I moved to West Michigan with my husband in 2024. For 13 years of my career I worked in pediatrics as a board-certified music therapist. I do not have children of my own but have loved working with children of all ages throughout my life. My priorities when working with children and families include: - providing a safe environment - respecting boundaries and preferences - individualizing experiences and care - encouraging confidence by fostering independence - supporting family passions and goals - promoting learning amidst everyday occurrences - communicating openly, clearly and with detail - helping people explore life with creativity & fun - balancing structure with improvisation - focusing on abilities. I received my Bachelor of Music degree in music therapy from MSU. In addition to my work experience as a pediatric music therapist at Children's Hospital of Michigan, I worked in administrative roles focused on Arts in Healthcare at The Detroit Symphony and The Center for Performing Arts Medicine at Houston Methodist Hospital. I was also a photographer at the Houston Zoo and provided customer service at Centerville Florist in Ohio. Some of my most rewarding jobs have been babysitting or nannying for families with children aged infant through elementary school. I still remain in touch with many of them and love learning from the children as they grow older. Their parents are happy to serve as a reference for me. I was CPR certified in the past but would need to be recertified. I enjoy working with people of all ages and have a passion for interacting with people who have a variety of needs, helping them to focus on their abilities, promoting opportunities for success, adapting situations to create accessibility and engaging them in creative experiences. I am interested in occasional or part-time work, preferably between mid-late morning through early evening during the week. I appreciate flexibility when needed when giving ample notice, and I make every effort to accommodate scheduling needs of families. I have my own reliable transportation. Please let me know if you have any questions, and I look forward to learning more about if I might be a good match for your needs! Thank you, Laura Duda 313.779.9110

Coming from a family of seven children, caring for kids has always been a natural part of my life. Growing up in a large family taught me patience, responsibility, flexibility, and how to connect with children of different ages and personalities. I also have extensive experience working with children in both educational and recreational settings. I spent over six summers as a camp counselor and leader, where I supervised children, planned activities, and helped create a fun and safe environment. I have also worked as a summer school teacher and coached middle school volleyball and basketball, giving me experience mentoring, teaching, encouraging, and managing groups of children with different needs and personalities. Professionally, I am a registered nurse with over 10 years of healthcare experience. I am trained in CPR and emergency response and am comfortable recognizing and responding to illnesses, injuries, and unexpected situations. My nursing background has taught me to be calm under pressure, attentive, dependable, organized, and safety-focused. I genuinely enjoy being around kids and love keeping them engaged through games, sports, outdoor activities, crafts, reading, homework help, and creative play. I'm also happy to help with meals, bedtime routines, and everyday care while respecting each family's routines and parenting preferences. Most importantly, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your children in someone else's care. My goal is for parents to feel completely comfortable knowing their children are with someone who is responsible, experienced, compassionate, and genuinely enjoys spending time with kids.

Hi there! I’ve worked with kids (aged newborn to 14 years) professionally for 13 years, mostly in the families’ homes, and I’ve worked at two daycare centers (infant rooms at both). I’m CPR and first aid trained and certified (recertification on 12/01/2022). I’m patient, caring, and safety-conscious, while also being fun-loving. I love outside play, reading to kids, and crafts. Along with being fun for the kids, I’m also here to help the parents. I’m a great communicator, trustworthy, and reliable. I follow the rules that you’ve set as parents. I’ve also had experience with kids with severe allergies. I’m very conscious of contaminants (though I do have a cat in my home). Thank you for your time, and please ask if you have any questions!
