Here's a little info on my past: I am the youngest sibling of four. Growing up, I was always the one to be babysat, but around the age of 12, I had my first babysitting job. I loved every minute of it. After that, I started volunteering to babysit, and I even put up flyes in my church. I was a VBS leader for multiple years, so that also helped my mini-career. I've also had a few nanny positions over the years. I have eleven nieces and nephews (going on twelve!), and they are constantly keeping me busy whenever I am able to see them. I love outdoor activities, reading books, music, and playing games with the kids. I love watching kids grow, in both the mind and heart. A little bit about my personal life: I am recently married as of May 2022 to my love and best friend for seven years. We have three fur babies, two cats names Lewis and Clark, and a dog named Ringo. We love adventure, travel, and are so excited about this next chapter in our story. A bit about my current professional life: I am a part-time nanny to two kids, ages 5 and 7, (was full-time) for about two years. They have been an absolute joy to spend my days with, but they are now in school full-time. I am looking for another part-time nanny job, an occasional babysitting opportunity, or a position that may start as temporary but could potentially turn into a long term relationship. Recently retired from 31 years of service with General Motors. I’ve moved back to Kalamazoo to care for my mom. She is the only family I have left, and I want to cherish the golden years. I am a hard working individual with a heart for kids! Currently, I work in and infant room in a daycare with my 3 month old daughter. In the past, I was a short term nanny for 2 children ages 10 and 12 for a year. I was also a short term nanny for a beautiful 9-month-old girl; I have worked with her since she was 4 months. Before that, I worked for 2 years at a public school as a special needs paraprofessional with 9 children.
