Hi! I’m a mom of 2 and looking to help out with childcare. I understand the difficulty of finding good childcare. I’m not working my career job as a nurse at this time to be more available to my own children. But I am wanting to help out a family who is in need. I currently attend the University of Toledo studying pre-nursing. I have worked at a daycare for a year, specifically in the preschool age classroom, as well as babysitting for multiple families. I also have experience working with infant to toddler age. I am adequate in diaper changing, bottle feeding, potty training, etc. I have a car and am able to provide transportation if needed and have first aid kit experience in case of any injuries that were to occur! I love being a nanny/babysitter because each child is unique to themselves. Some kids are talkative, energetic, and the complete opposite of shy; then there are others who stay to themselves, quiet, and don’t open up as quickly. Either way I’m always intrigued to learn their personalities and watch them grow up into their own person. I also love teaching and watch their confidence grow from the more knowledge they learn, and I am not shy to having to come up with unique ways to teach because of my nearly year experience in ABA therapy. Working as a behavior technician for kids with autism has taught me that not all children learn the textbook definition way and has allowed me to be creative in the different methods I have picked up.
