I hired Ms. J because our regular nanny was going on maternity leave. Ms. J has been so good with my boys that I've kept her for a few hours each week even after our regular nanny returned. My boys adore her! All week, I hear, "When is Ms. J coming to play?" She plays imaginative games with my boys, indoors and out. They do art projects. But I also love that she's not a pushover. The boys follow the rules because they don't want to lose out on games and stories with her. Your kids will be entertained, and your house will sparkle. Did I mention that she just jumps in to whatever house project needs attention? Dishes, laundry, mopping--she does it all and manages to play with the kids at the same time. While we would be sad to give up our weekly play date with Ms. J, we would be thrilled to share her with another family and work our days around their schedule.

I am simply looking to provide affordable childcare for families and help pay my own bills at the same time. I have several years of experience working with kids with 5 years as a babysitter, 1 year as a teaching assistant, and 1 year working at an in-home daycare. In my current job, I work closely with kids/families and am well educated on practices of safe sleep, first aid, and CPR. My availability is very flexible, so please reach out with any questions/concerns and we can work something out!

Hello! My name is Doreena, and I am a reliable, compassionate caregiver with extensive experience working with children and families. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies and am currently pursuing my Master's in Social Work. My professional background includes one year as a Child Protective Services (CPS) Investigator, where I worked closely with children and families, assessed safety concerns, and connected families with community resources. I also completed two internships with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, gaining valuable experience supporting children, parents, and individuals facing a variety of life challenges. In addition, I worked for nine months as a Behavioral Technician, providing one-on-one support to a fourth-grade student. In this role, I helped implement behavior support strategies, encouraged positive social and emotional development, and built a strong, trusting relationship with the child and family. I am patient, attentive, and comfortable caring for children of all ages. My education and professional experience have given me a strong understanding of child development, behavior management, emotional well-being, and family dynamics. Whether helping with daily routines, homework, activities, or simply creating a safe and positive environment, I strive to provide dependable, nurturing care that parents can trust. I would love the opportunity to support your family and help your child learn, grow, and thrive.

Hi there! I am a dedicated and energetic caregiver who truly loves helping kids grow, learn, and have fun. With experience caring for children ranging from ages 1 to 12—including plenty of hands-on time with twins—I’ve learned how to keep a household calm, organized, and full of smiles. I believe that a great nanny doesn't just watch the kids, but becomes a helpful part of the family "team." Whether we are tackling the milestones of potty training, diving into homework help, or just playing together, I aim to be a positive and nurturing presence in your children’s lives. How I Can Help Your Home: Safety & Peace of Mind: I am fully CPR and First Aid certified, so your little ones are always in safe hands. On the Go: I have my own vehicle and am more than happy to handle school commutes, drive to soccer practice, or check off your grocery list. Extra Hands at Home: I’m always ready to jump in with cooking, laundry, or light cleaning to help take the weight off your shoulders at the end of the day. Pet Friendly: If you have furry family members, they’ll get plenty of love from me, too!
