Hi! My name is Chantal Gilbert, and I love kids!:-) I started babysitting when I was 11 years old, and am now 52 and have 5 children of my own.:-) My oldest is 32 and my youngest is 18. Two of my children are twins, who were born premature, so I have lots of experience with twins and preemies! I owned and operated a Licensed daycare in Gladwin Mi. for 7 years. We then moved back here to Kawkawlin, to be closer to family. I cared for children in my home for a while, then when we decided to build our own home, I went to work at Head Start in Bay City for a while, until my daughter was born. I then cared for some of my friends children, in their homes, along with my daughter, until our house was built. And then I started caring for children in my home. which is what I still do today.:-) We have a large yard to play in, set far back from the road, and many toys and activities, both outside and in.:-) We have chickens and a duck to watch. I have low rates. Only 5 dollars per hour for one child, and 2 dollars an hour for additional children. I love and care for all the children as my own. ❤️ I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I have completed a Safe to sleep class. I also have worked as a Nanny, and love it. I am called Miss C, by most of the children, so I advertise as Miss C's Nanny Service. I am currently seeking a Nanny position, in which I would be working less hours than I'm putting in now, but also would be making as much, or more income, than I am now. Hi families! I am here to provide babysitting services to any families who may be in need. I do currently work full time as a nanny, but I have plenty of weekend/evening availability! I have been working with children since I was 16 (will be 24 in January 24’) and absolutely love what I do! Originally, I worked at a KinderCare center in the infant room but shortly after COVID started I moved into private childcare. The ability to build a bond with both parents and the children has really been amazing, as well as getting to cater to individual needs and interests.
