Hi! My name is Jess and I’ve always enjoyed working with kids—I'm responsible, patient, and genuinely love helping children learn and have fun in a safe environment. I have been working with children as a lead teacher with the YMCA for a little over 5 years. I discovered my love for working with children in high school when I volunteered for a theater camp as a counselor. After that I took as many opportunities to work with children, like taking a teacher assistant position with elementary students. I babysat for a few people that weren't family and for a few that were. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have over 20 hours of training that I have gathered over my years at the YMCA. Daily I plan and execute a variety of activities including Arts and Crafts, STEM/STEAM, cultural projects, and have assisted in planning field trips.

I am a hard working individual with a heart for kids! Currently, I work in and infant room in a daycare with my 3 month old daughter. In the past, I was a short term nanny for 2 children ages 10 and 12 for a year. I was also a short term nanny for a beautiful 9-month-old girl; I have worked with her since she was 4 months.
