I have 5 years experience working at a preschool with children from 2 1/2 to 5 years of age. My position was that of an aide but I also instructed the children in a one to one basis in the areas of colors, shapes and numbers. We also worked on identifying letters, both capital and lower case, learning the sounds each letter makes, and in many cases, blending the sounds to read words. The children were also taught sight words with the use of flash cards. I have 12 credit hours in early childhood education. I have a background check from 2019 and I have been trained in first aid and CPR. I am a mom of 3 grown children which is why I have experience with all ages of children. I was a stay at home mom until my youngest entered middle school. At that time I decided to enter the early childhood education field because of my love for children!
