I'm a dependable, caring nanny who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and supporting families. I strive to create a safe, engaging, and positive environment where kids can learn, grow, and feel comfortable being themselves. Whether we're doing creative activities, spending time outdoors, helping with developmental milestones or simply following a consistent routine. I bring patience, reliability, and a calm approach to each day. I understand that every family is unique, and I take pride in adapting to each child's personality and needs while maintaining open communication with parents. My goal is to be a trusted, supportive presence that helps make family life run a little more smoothly. I look forward to building meaningful connections and providing attentive, compassionate care.

Alexis watched out 1.5 year old daughter for a few hours when we were in a pinch to find a sitter. She showed up early and navigated a new child and situation great.

I am an loving and responsible mother of a beautiful young lady. I have over 40 years experience caring for children in private homes and in licensed day care centers. I successfully raised my daughter alone. She is now a college graduate and is employed in her field of study. I also have over 30 years as a cook/chef, both privately and in day cares, hospitals, hotels, and senior living centers. I also have creative and artistic talent, which in the past has helped with not just school projects, homework, but also with activities to help to build a child's imagination. I enjoy cooking, sports, playing games, reading and arts and crafts.

Maureen was absolutely incredible with our girls! I have a 2 year old and 3 month old and she was able to watch them throughout a long weekend when we had numerous events to attend. My 2yr old is quite active and energetic and Maureen kept up with entertaining her amazingly. She also was so kind and sweet with my littlest one. It was such a piece of mind to have her as our sitter while we were on our trip and she truly treated them like family.

Hi, my name is Valerie and I am interested in part-time childcare work. I am a mom of 5 Vikings ( as my husband and I call them). My two oldest have moved out, and I have 2 in High School and 1 in Community College. I have been a stay-at-home mom for (most of) 23 yrs. I started following my kids to school, and volunteering in classrooms until the school finally hired me! When I realized that my kids would rather be with their friends I decided it was time to get out of the house. My neighbor agreed and offered me up as a nanny for friends of hers. I obtained my CPR certification and accepted a temporary Nanny position, part-time, for an infant. I so enjoyed my time with a little again! My position ended when circumstances changed and the family moved from the area. Since that first job, I’ve had a family in town for two days for work and hired me to care for their infant for a few days. Then two very lovely families who each only needed me part of the week became my primary jobs and kept my schedule full. Then it happened. A job offer for Husband, in Michigan. Since we are originally from Michigan, we made the very difficult decision to move. Yay Husband. Bummer to leave the families I had been a part of. Pre-Husband and Vikings, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Earth Science at Central Michigan University. Being a bit of a wanderer, I found myself in Chicago working at an Ad Agency! My family and I moved to Greensboro about 8yrs ago, and loved having both mountains and Ocean available for our adventures. However, the never ending heat and humidity will not be missed. I enjoy getting outdoors daily, and perhaps it’s the Earth Science background, but I love taking the little ones outside and introducing them to the trees, flowers, birds, whatever we come across. Kids are such natural sponges, they soak it all in. Having the opportunity to smell or touch or hold something greatly improves their understanding of their environment.

Valerie has been AMAZING! We've been lucky to have her services for about 12 hours a week for the past year. She has beautifully cared for, taught and loved on our now 1.5 year-old son (who just adores her) while my wife and I both worked from home... as well as occasionally our now 4 year-old daughter (who also adores her!). Additionally, Valerie would support our child-care needs for weekends-away, sick-days etc. Valerie brought such love and attention to our kiddos, their evolving allergy needs and eagerly took them outside for daily walks and exploration. She has been a true gift. We are so sad that Valerie will be moving away, even though our youngest is starting school in the fall, we always hoped to continue relying on Valerie for her wonderful care of our young family. We hold her in the highest regard, and future families would be lucky to have Valerie as part of their child-raising village.

Hello! I’m Meemee—a 24-year-old University of Michigan graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences. I currently work part-time as a certified pharmacy technician while preparing for graduate school, and I continue to offer occasional babysitting services for families seeking trusted, compassionate care. With over 9 years of hands-on childcare experience—from helping raise my younger siblings to supporting local families—I bring a calm, nurturing, and dependable presence to every home. I’ve supported children of all ages, from toddlers to teens, including those with special needs and medical complexities. I’m certified in CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogen safety, and I have my own reliable transportation. I’m comfortable preparing meals, helping with homework, offering light tutoring, or simply making sure your children feel safe, engaged, and cared for in your absence. Whether you need last-minute help, after-school care, or support for date nights or weekends away, I’m here to provide peace of mind. If you’re looking for thoughtful, professional, heart-led care, I’d be honored to support your family.

Absolutely Outstanding Nanny! We have been truly blessed to have Gabrielle (Gabby) as our son’s nanny for the past year, and it’s with heavy hearts that we say goodbye. From day one, Gabby has been an absolute rockstar — always on time, every single day, without fail. Her reliability gave us complete peace of mind as working parents. Gabby communicated beautifully with us and showed wonderful initiative whenever our now 4-year-old was having a tough moment. Whether it was a meltdown, a tricky behavior phase, or just needing a little extra patience and creativity, she jumped in with kindness, problem-solving, and a huge heart. She didn’t just watch our son — she truly cared for him, helped him grow, and made every afternoon brighter. Gabby quickly became a trusted, loved member of our family. We will miss her warm smile, her energy, and the joy she brought into our home every single day. Gabby, congratulations on your next exciting chapter — you deserve all the best! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you’ve poured into our son and our family this past year. You made a real, lasting difference, and we will never forget it. We will miss you so much! We would recommend Gabrielle to any family in a heartbeat — she is truly one of the best. 5 stars doesn’t even feel like enough!

Although we ended up getting an international au pair instead of a local nanny, Dianna was prompt and communicated well during our interview process. I could tell she was genuinely interested in children and felt she would have been a great fit for my family. If the au pair doesn't work out, I will definitely call Dianna first thing!
