My name is Juliet and I have recently returned home to Minnesota. I grew up with four siblings, two of whom I helped raise as they were much younger than myself. Since then, I have been a summer camp counselor, a gymnastics instructor, and a youth climbing team coach. From 2015-2016 I cared for an infant through his first year. I moved to Chapel Hill, NC in 2017 where I nannied for two children with autism, eight and fourteen, for one year. In 2018 I nannied for twin three-year-olds and a one-year-old. I remained with that same family until the Spring of 2022. During that time I also coached gymnastics in the evenings. My husband and I left Duluth almost eleven years ago to pursue our passions of adventure, and between backpacking, rock climbing, and sailing the Caribbean Islands, we feel quite accomplished. I love using these experiences to help foster children's natural sense of wonderment with the world around them. My husband and I have recently moved back to Duluth after my husband was hired as an Assistant Professor in the Social Work Department at UMD. I have previously held Red Cross First Aid, CPR, and Lifeguard Training certificates, but they have expired. I am looking for a position that would have me working locally in the Duluth/East Hillside area.
