I am an elementary school teacher and mother of 2 teenagers. I teach from 8-12:00pm and can be available starting around 5:00 during the week. My husband and I live in Lakeville with our 2 French bulldogs. I love spending time with children and animals! I can cook and provide transportation also. I am also looking for sporadic evening babysitting jobs. I have a lot of evening availability. 3 hr. minimum for sitting jobs.

I grew up with a much younger brother and participated in his care since his birth. I started babysitting outside of the home at the age 12, and have consistently been involved in the care of children through the years. In college, I started working with adults who were either developmentally or physically disabled. Additionally, I spent five years employed at a school that specializes in working with children diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum. I currently babysit most frequently for ages one through five, however I do work daily with children 7th grade to 12th grade. I am comfortable working with children of any age. I come from a pet-free house and I do not have any of my own children. My care-giving philosophy is based on love, patience and understanding of the child in my care. I believe children should be raised according to the philosophy of the parents, not my own. Changing expectations based on the care-giver only causes confusion for the child.
