I think children’s learning skills and abilities are super important. I am experienced with babysitting ages 4 months-6years old but am open to older. I also am involved in working with kids at my church, and I have experience working professionally at a daycare with infants for the last 7 months. I’m in school full time throughout the week. So a family who would need evening care if you want a date night or need to run errands, or weekends would be perfect for me! I have skills in cooking for the kiddos, bottle making, nap/bedtime, playtime. I like to prioritize time away from screens unless we’re all watching something together because I think hands on learning is so important! I am also CPR and first aid certified. I have been a nanny for a family with a wonderful baby girl for the last year that is in the process of moving to the East Coast. I’m going with them for the first 6 weeks to help with the transition and will be back in Minnesota in October. During the last year we have worked on developmental milestones, sensory, gross and fine motor skills, cognitive skills with weekly themes (farm animals, foods, etc.), music, sign-language, language skills, basic Spanish, crafts / arts, sleep schedule, feeding schedule, introduction of new foods and various outings (conservatory, art museum, global market, zoo (pre-COVID), park, beach, pool, walks, (post COVID with social distancing).
