Hi!🎉✨❤️ Ever since high school I’ve found myself having so much fun being around kids and through my different experiences being in different environments, I realized that it’s where I shine a lot. I naturally am super playful and when mixed with kids I’m even more playful having a lot of fun being with them. I get exposed to their curiosity, their play, their imagination and it sparks a lot of that in me too. It’s been an adventure being with so many kids because it’s never the same kind of experience. I knew and still know that one of my gifts is working with kids. It’ll always be an instant pull for me in my life. I’ve had a lot of exposure working with kids from infants-12th grade in different settings such as the Boys & Girls Club, camps, the homework help center at a few libraries, being at hotels for wedding events, to being at homes and volunteer places. However me being the oldest of 3 younger siblings has also taught me a lot too along with my own experiences with my infant, toddler cousins. With that it’s also led me to work with families that I have. Rather it be full time, part time, occasionally or for one time. I’ve gotten the opportunity to build genuine connections and lasting memories as I witness the growth and development of the kids I’ve watched. Each it’s own unique experience. I’m passionate about what I do as I live passionately in my own life committed to my own continuous growth. I’m a very bubbly, vibrant, responsible, respectful, open minded, kind, caring, loving, compassionate, family orientated and resilient person. Kids are amazing, curious, playful and we can definitely learn from them as well. I find their playfulness as well as curiosity to be so joyful to see and experience. I put myself in their shoes to better understand and see where they are coming from; what is a need or what is wanting to be heard in the moment. I feel grateful to just work with kids in any way, but also connecting with them and you the parent(s) really matter to me too. Fun fact, I have been flown twice by an awesome family playing a important role being with their kiddos so they can take care of the pumpkin patch they’ve been in charge of who I still in am contact with today. They were looking for a unicorn and I confidently said that’s me, a unicorn! 😆🎉 Safety, trust, and communication are meaningful things for me when working with families. After my "journalism" career (too many ad agencies and a faltering book industry), I began working with children, the elderly, and pets. Being a trusted, reliable presence in their lives provides a life balance that I enjoy, and utilizing a care provider with a good attitude is beneficial for everyone involved. For a few years (until I broke my arm skiing on too much ice), I worked part-time as a CNA (Cert. Nursing Assistant), but began spending more time as a substitute for teachers and paraprofessionals in local schools. When Covid came along, I teamed up with a family who wanted to keep a close watch on safety for their premature baby. I was lucky to find a temporary position that allowed me to return to this family to care for their second child, who is now in pre-school (I still babysit on their "date nights." I have raised two sons, one diagnosed with ADHD and the other with Asperger Syndrome (a high-functioning form of autism), conditions that often swim in the same genetic pool. I played on their strengths when offering activity choices to them, and today they are both doing well as young adults following their own career paths. When my children were very young, I taught Sunday school to grade-school-aged children while running a licensed in-home childcare center. I love to do individual outdoor activities that match the weather, although walking my shared Corgi must happen regardless of temperature or precipitation. I tend to eat very well -- my goal is to retain as much of my physical, spiritual, and mental health as possible. I love sharing this knowledge with little ones and helping them to grow into who they were meant to become.

Hi! I’m currently a senior in high school, planning to pursue a career in Dental Hygiene. I became a certified babysitter at age 12 and have since cared for more than five families. Along with babysitting, I work another job on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and some weekends, but I can adjust my schedule when needed.
