I have experience with a wide array of ages and ability levels, from infant to teens. I most recently was a nanny part time for a family with three boys under 4 years old. Prior to becoming a nanny, I worked as a direct support professional and independent living skills counselor in a group home and in community based settings. I worked with individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses and neurodivergent individuals, helping them learn life and coping skills. I have also worked with children with autism and Down Syndrome during my time as a nanny. I am very contentious about safety, and am fully vaccinated against COVID. I have ten plus years of child care and related experience and am CPR and first aid trained. I have also taken child development safety courses including SIDS and head trauma. I love my screens as much as anyone but I’m an avid believer that children should have limits on their screen time and should engage in creative play and educational activities.
