I believe that screen time can stunt creativity and brain development. I view punishment as a last resort and I prefer to keep kids busy, active and teach good social skills to avoid misbehavior in the first place. Teaching self-control and awareness can be difficult but it benefits children for the rest of their lives. I do not yell or spank because I believe it models poor behavior that children mimic.
