I have been working with children for over 20 years in different roles. I started babysitting as a teenager, and in my 20s started working with children with Autism. I have used positive reinforcement, 1-2-3 Magic, and redirecting to encourage healthy behaviors. I have a degree in Social Work and as a professional I am familiar with child development, and worked as a Parent Educator. I'm trained in Parents As Teachers, Circle of Security, and First Aid and CPR, among numerous other trainings. I understand child development benchmarks and milestones, and know how to facilitate the development a childs emerging skills through play. Working in Family Preservation, as a Social Worker, was what I loved the most about my career. Helping families stay together, where children can grow and learn in a natural, supportive, loving environment was one of the most meaningful ways I could use my education. Now being semi retired, providing childcare is my way of continuing the most rewarding part of my career. I love to cook, docrafts, am imaginative and artistic, and able to keep kids engaged in activities. Hi! Im madi, im 18 years old. I am a senior in highschool but I have graduated early. I have had experience with kids since I was 15 such as assistant coach for cheer, life guarding, and babysitting! I am going to Mineral Area college starting in August and working on my real estate license at this time!

I breifly worked in a baby room and toddler room back in 2006 at my kids daycare filling in for a teacher on maternity leave. I have worked as a PARA in SPED classrooms grades k-3 and grades 3-5. I have subbed for teachers in elementary, middle, highschool and alternative. I have worked with a non-verbal with developmental disabilities and the medical side with colostomy and feeding tubes and a older teen with developmental disabilities. I raised 3 children of my own and raised my grandson his first year of birth while mom worked. I am fun and caring and a trustworthy person.
