Once I became old enough to be hired, I continued working there for about four years in a paid position. During that time, I gained experience with children ranging from infants to after-school age (up to about 10 years old). I have since worked in several daycare settings, including infant rooms and Pre-K classrooms, which allowed me to develop strong skills in age-appropriate care, classroom management, and early childhood development. Currently, I nanny and babysit for multiple families. My responsibilities include assisting parents in the home, supporting routines such as meals and naps, and sometimes providing care in my own home depending on the family’s needs. While nannying, I focus on meeting each child’s developmental needs through learning and play. I enjoy incorporating Montessori-style learning, teaching basic sign language, and helping children build independence and life skills. I truly love working with children and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for them to grow.

I have lots of experience with children. I grew up with a family of 20 from all ages and volunteered at a special needs camp for many years. I was adopted when I was 14 so I helped raise my 3 biological siblings before. I love building relationships and trust because I believe that is the foundation for all good relationships. My lifelong passion has always been childcare, and nothing brings me more fulfillment than helping kids grow, learn, and stay safe. I have a diverse background in childcare, including working as an after-school daycare provider for ages 4-12, assisting in my church's nursery, and helping with Vacation Bible School. My faith as a Christian guides how I live my life, and I pride myself on being a kind, considerate, and incredibly hardworking person. As a caregiver, I love being a fun, supportive friend to children while maintaining a safe and structured environment. I'm also a recently licensed aesthetician. Outside of work, I love cooking, baking, thrifting, and spending time outdoors. I'm more than happy to help with cleaning, meal prep, or pet care.
