Hi! I’m 18 years old and currently in college studying Nursing. I’ve worked with kids for several years and have a lot of experience caring for children of different ages. I’m very comfortable around kids and genuinely enjoy spending time with them — whether that’s playing games, doing crafts, helping with homework, or sticking to their daily routines. I’m responsible, patient, and attentive, and safety is always my top priority. I’m great at following parents’ instructions and keeping kids engaged while making sure they’re well cared for. I can help with meals, bedtime routines, light tidying, and anything else needed to keep things running smoothly. I am not CPR certified, but I know how to perform CPR accurately on children of all ages. I have my driver’s license and am comfortable driving children to and from activities, school, or appointments when a family provides a vehicle. While I don’t currently have my own personal car at college, I’m completely comfortable driving a parent’s or family member’s car when needed. Parents can count on me to be punctual, dependable, and communicative. I take babysitting seriously and always strive to create a safe, positive, and fun environment for every child I care for.

Great energy and reliable, our daughter (3yrs old) got excited each time she would babysit. We’re sorry to see her go off to college and lose her as a sitter but happy to see her expanding her horizons. 5 stars

My name is Amanda. I’m 31 years old to a mama of a two kiddos 5 and 7 months. I have almost 20 years of experience babysitting, nannying. I have experience with twins being a nanny to them at a month old til they went to daycare. I’m cpr certified due to being a lifeguard since I was 15. I will be straight forward that I bring my daughter (baby) with me to my job. I’ve never had a problem with it with any parent. I think it’s a great opportunity for them to play together and get along with kids their age or older or younger to work on social skills. I have always loved being around kids because they bring so much positivity and joy into everything they come in contact with. My schedule might seem confusing on here and I tried fixing it but I can be available from 9-2 M-F!

Hi! I'm Maddie, I’m a caring, responsible babysitter with a genuine love for kids. I am currently in nursing school and working towards a career in pediatric nursing, so supporting and nurturing children is both my passion and my future! I have experience babysitting for friends, through referrals, and with Sittercity. while my schedule hasn’t always been consistent, I’ve learned to adapt quickly and connect well with different families and children. Whether it’s playing games, helping with homework, or sticking to a bedtime routine, I always aim to create a safe, fun, and positive environment. I'm also CPR certified, so you can feel confident that your child’s safety is always a top priority. I’d love the chance to support your family and be a reliable, caring presence in your child’s life!

Summary: I moved from Spain to the United States. I studied Finance. I moved to the United States for family reasons. My son had the opportunity to study here in 2014, when he was 17 years old. He will finish his medical degree in 2023. Additionally, part of my family has lived in Matthews for 14 years. When I arrived in 2018, I began working with the Starr family, Dr. Adam and Maya Starr, in Asheville, caring for their four children, ages 8, 6, and 3, and their newborn. I worked with them temporarily for seven months. In July 2019, I began working in Weddington, North Carolina, with the Kum Kim family, caring for their 18-month-old baby. I was expecting a baby in October 2019. The family had to relocate to Atlanta for work, so I worked with them until April 2021. In May 2021, I started working in Charlotte with the Petronis family, where I began caring for their 7-month-old baby. In September 2022, their second daughter was born, and I cared for her as well. The Petronis family had some family changes, so I worked with them until August 2023. From November 2023 to February 2024, I worked with the Schwarz family in Mooreville. From March 2024 to August 22/2025, I worked as a shared nanny for the Rolhfs and Groody families, caring for their babies, who are currently 23 and 21 months old. I've lived in Mooresville since October 2019, but I moved to Statesville in August 2024. I'm patient, I love teaching, and I believe the best way to teach is through educational and hands-on games, as well as engaging children in everyday activities. I'm also a mother, so I know that the first six years of a child's life are crucial for their personal development. That's why it's essential to create a loving, safe, stable, and fun environment for them to discover their abilities, such as art, music, and science. I'm happy to help establish routines and guide them through their developmental milestones. My English isn't perfect, but I continue to study and learn every day, and I can communicate with you and the children. Thank you. Best regards. Glenda Lewis Escobar

We consider ourselves extremely blessed for having Glenda as our children's nanny for the past 2.5 years. Glenda started caring for our son when he was ~8 months old, and she's now also been caring for our daughter since she was born. Glenda's incredibly reliable, honest, loving and patient (truly a saint!). We've never questioned our children's safety, and we're constantly overwhelmed by her love for our children. She goes above and beyond for our family, and we'll feel forever indebted to her. It's difficult to part ways with Glenda, but we find comfort in knowing how much love and care she'll provide to another family.

I have a passion for caring for children of all ages. I have professional experience that spans over three decades. I have worked with children having ADHD, ASD, OCD, Tourette Syndrome, Fragile X, Celiac, allergies, and other special needs. I have also spent numerous years providing equine therapy to individuals with physical and developmental challenges. I spent many years working in day care centers, most recently, as a Lead Young Toddler Teacher. My role consisted of caring for up to six one-year children or up to 12 children with an assistant teacher. I care for every child based on their cognitive and physical developmental stage. I engage with children and work to support parents' routines. I consider all things related to children part of my job, dishes, meal prep, children's laundry, etc. I am first aid and infant CPR certified, comfortable with pets, potty training, and administering medication. I also provide date night, event, overnight, travel, and last minute, and emergency care.
