I'm currently unemployed due to relocation, before I moved here I was a Barista at Starbucks for 2 years. While living in Raleigh, I completed several volunteer hours at Shaw University Child Development Center as a teacher assistant. I engaged with children 3-5 years of age with behavioral problems. I learned different techniques on how to help children behave properly to get them prepared for elementary school, and I'm great at it. My mother is a nanny and she is certified in CNA (my motivation). Growing up I always wanted to make a career of caring for children. I have 4 nieces and 1 nephew, I raised them all from birth except 1. (also raised my 1st cousin). I was always the babysitter of the family, even at a young age.
