Hello, I am the mother of 4 girls (ages 15, 22, 23, 24) living in Wilton. I have been caring for children most of my life. After receiving a B. A. in Psychology, I worked in a very unique group home for special needs children in Long Island. Disabilities included cerebral palsy, downs syndrome, microcephaly, fragile x syndrome, autism, blindness, seizure disorders, and behavioral issues with most children having multiple issues. My direct care experience working with mentally and physically disabled children provided me extensive knowledge of the cognitive, physical and psychosocial health of children. As assistant manager of the home, responsibilities included all aspects of staffing and budgeting.
