Hi! My name is Cortney and I have been in childcare for about 10 years. My most recent nanny position will be coming to an end soon, as they are moving away. I have been with them for about 3 months, and with my previous family for 5 years! Before nannying, I worked in various centers, specifically focusing on infant and toddler care. I have some credits in early childhood education, and I am willing to be re-certified in infant CPR/first aid/SIDS. I am also willing to go through background checks, and have no issues with cameras in reasonable locations. As a childcare provider, I am attentive to infants needs, and am able to keep them on a reasonable schedule. Typically, I will keep a daily baby diary with feedings, diapering, sleep, and activities noted. I like to keep open communication with the parents, as I believe the nanny positions are always smoother when the three of is are on the same page. I enjoy doing sensory activities, and am always finding age appropriate activities that encourage both development and fun. I have my own transportation, and a clean driving record. I enjoy being outside and taking walks, and I don't believe in utilizing screens very much. I prefer to use music and engage in play with the child(ren).
