Hello! My name is Allie. I am currently a full time college student at UNCC, I am studying to be a nurse. I love kids. I have 4 younger siblings, so I was made into a babysitter at a very young age and it was truly such a blessing. I volunteer at my church nursery every sunday and wednesday. I have been baby sitting for friends and family since I was 14 years old! I am CPR certified and a CNA. I’m just looking for a way to make some extra money while also doing something I enjoy.

I am new to Midland. I moved here to NC, 2018, to Midland in 2021. I moved from Clarksville, TN. I watched numerous children in 10 years I was there. Most children that I sat for were Military children. I lived right down the road from Ft.Campbell, KY. The children became members of my family as well as I became members of theirs. We went on outings, to the park for little picnics, amusement park, Chuckie Cheese, shopping, and even out for ice cream or down to Sonic for happy hour. I never took them anywhere that I did not get approval from their parents. I have played cars, robots, dolls, coloring, any arts and crafts, we watched movies, read. All my kids were special, and still are. I miss them and still stay in touch with them all. I have plenty of references, so please contact me if I can help you in anyway.

I have been working as a sitter since teenage years and thoroughly enjoy my time as one. I enjoy working with children and seeing them go through all their stages. I have 2 years of experience as an infant/toddler teacher. I am CPR and first aid certified. I am very health conscious and love making learning fun. I think it's very important for children to be constantly learning so I like to incorporate fun learning games into the day.

I enjoy watching children of all ages! I prefer 1 - 2 children because I believe affection and quality time is necessary for a child growing. I am confident in being on time for pickups and drop offs, helping with homework, preparing meals, studying, making sure bed times are achieved and other parental requests are needed. I am very flexible in the evenings and weekends so last minute scheduling is okay. My response time is usually less then an hour. I hope to work with one or two great families that will enjoy having me around! I am a people person and love learning as well as sharing my knowledge. In my spare time I enjoy doing outdoor activities, baking, reading, and watching shows. I am a homebody. Very friendly, reserved, always ready to lean a helping hand, organized, great communicator, efficient, and caring. I hope to meet you soon!

I am from Rockingham, NC and I recently graduate from UNCC with a masters in social work. I currently work as a child-watch associate at the Keith family YMCA and a preschool teacher at Chesterbrook Academy. I am also excited to be an upcoming teacher assistant with Charlotte- Mecklenburg Schools. I have always had a passion for working with children and families and being an added support system to families that are in need. I love working with children and families, because I believe it takes a community to raise a child at each level (micro, mezzo, and macro) and the best teachers start in the home. I am good at what I do, because I have learned patience and different ways to communicate with children. Most importantly, I am good at what I do because I have a lot of practice via internships within title 1 schools and my current employments.
