I began babysitting at age 11 and became a nanny in my teens, continuing throughout my 20s. I worked with one family for over 10 years, caring for two boys from ages 3 and 5 until they were 13 and 15. Because the parents frequently traveled for work, I managed not only the children’s daily needs but also the household and family dogs.
