I am a mother to a 4-year-old boy, Lucas, and a 2-year-old boy, Micah. I am also a registered nurse. I decided to stop working after was born because I wanted to be home with him. I have decided to continue staying home with my children until they are both in school, at least. I am looking for a way to add to our income without having to be away from my children and without having to be occupied with desk work while taking care of them. I think having another child, or two, with us would be a great way to add to our income without compromising our current situation. There is something special about having your children in a happy, safe, and clean environment where they can play together and learn. I want to continue providing that for my children, and I would love to provide that for someone else's children who need that. I’ve helped care for kids most of my life, i am the oldest of 4 and my younger siblings are 10 and 5, before i moved to North Carolina i was a nanny for a teacher that taught at my High-school in Kansas. when i first moved to North Carolina my first job here was a nanny for a family in Greenville where i cared for 4 kids ages ranging from 1-8, i did meal prep (i would occasionally start dinner for them), helped with potty training, housecleaning and laundry, pet care, and i did after school pickup, i have training in CPR and First Aid.
