Erica has been a great benefit to supporting our family's child care and transportation needs. Erica communicates well about her availability and checks in often if there is any concern she may have regarding our kid, sharing her insight and is not afraid to ask us questions. Over the course of a few weeks we've seen them become closer and our kiddo looks forward to spending time with Erica. We happily offer our recommendation if your needs align with Erica's schedule and ability. It is also worth noting Erica is open-minded, accepting, and a possible ally if you are seeking one so kind.

Hi, my name is Brooke and I am super passionate about taking care of kids. I recently graduated from college with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and will be working as a registered nurse in the Neonatal ICU in the fall. In the mean time I am looking to babysit over the summer. I would love the opportunity to be able to babysit or nanny your children! I am fairly flexible with my hours, this would be my main commitment. I also can do any chores around the house or run any errands if needed as I do drive and have a car.

I am a 31-year old woman with 10+ years of experience in the childcare industry. Along with babies, toddlers and young children, I also have experience working with children on the autistic spectrum in a therapy setting. I was an elementary school teacher for grades K-3 and have 3 years of experience teaching children English. I have a car, valid driver's license and insurance and have picked children up and dropped them off at school/clubs before. My degree is from DePaul University is in Child Development Psychology. I absolutely adore kids and find the best fun by just doing whatever they want to do - go to a park, play with their toys, make cookies, etc. I am a kid at heart and kids and parents alike adore me when I come over. While playtime is fun, I also am consistent with my rules, which allows the children to practice respect, but still connect with my childlike side. Jay was incredibly great with our kids. There was an instant connection and she really took the time to get know their personalities. Jay was also really flexible and very reliable. She helped clean and organize the house, beyond just cleaning up after play. We definitely endorse her!

Hi! I'm Shannon, a 28 year old who lives in Raleigh and babysits for a living. I have reliable transportation and I'm CPR/ First Aid certified. I have been babysitting since I was 17 professionally. I started watching children with autism at 18 until last year because I became a full time nanny. I'm taking time off from Wake Technical Community college to save up money and figure out exactly which career I would like to pursue. I would love to talk on the phone, meet for coffee, an dome over to meet your family. I'm friendly, respectful, prompt, and tidy. Look forward to hearing from you! Shannon

Hello! My name is Charlotte, and I have numerous years of experience working with children as both a nanny and a Pre-K Teacher Assistant. I have a natural ease with children and enjoy supporting their learning and development through play, reading, various activities and outside time. I have had Infant & Child First Aid/CPR trainings and I also completed an Early Childhood Education Certificate course. As a mom myself, I really value the importance of the role of a caring, attentive nanny! I take great satisfaction in feeling as though parents can see their child is safe, happy and engaged in my care. It truly is a joy to watch young minds grow and foster their curiosity of the world.

We have had Charlotte as a part-time nanny for our daughter for the past 8 months and could not be more happy with our experience. Charlotte is kind, caring, professional, and so easy to work with. Our daughter absolutely loves her and my husband and I have felt comfortable leaving her with Charlotte from very early on. We are so lucky to have found Charlotte and wish that we weren't moving and could continue with her. We couldn't recommend her more highly!

My 'Prime Objective' as a Caregiver is nurturing a sense of wonder and curiosity in preschoolers -- and imagination plus reality-based competencies in the over-5s. (While keeping them safe and cared for, of course!) And I really prefer to avoid electronic screens for children! That's why I love to read with children. And bring intriguing books from my collection from classic to modern... Plus I'm always up for outdoor fun! And getting down on the floor and building things. Over years, I've put together a big wooden train collection with a SUITCASE full of tracks, specialty pieces like bridges, tunnels, ramps and connectors, with several battery powered remote controllable locomotives. Children 3-9 can literally spend enthralled HOURS assembling their own creative layouts then running trains. (While naturally enhancing their spatial intelligence, collaboration skills and 'stick-to-it-ness'...) Other options: a set of colorful wood blocks; tea sets (covert etiquette lessons and cookie baking!); princess and knight costumes for feeling special and dress-up play; Nerfball shooters (with eye protection!). An old-fashioned portable record player with classic vintage story records. Art supplies, an easel, squirt guns and sprinkler... For several years, I worked as a private-duty CNA and in-home Caregiver for elderly and disabled people. This type of upscale agency work requires immaculate background checks, excellent health, clean drug tests, reliability and being on time, as well as cheerfulness, compassion and competence. Now, I'm semi-retired, active and healthy, and LOVE interacting with children. In high school, I babysat for most of the kids in our neighborhood, was a paid Girl Scout Day Camp Counselor with full charge of eight 9 year old girls, had Red Cross Lifesaver Swimming Certification, and taught horseback riding. Have First Aid and CPR Certificates and recent college Certificate In Child Development. Have experience with autistic and medically fragile children. A recent review, from an ER nurse: "Just wanted to say thank you again for the great care that Sue gave the boys yesterday. She's so patient and amazing and I like the fact that she's mature and is a grandparent herself. She brought her own books and toys and the boys just had a blast with her. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking care, she definitely is an asset..." Allison RN 💚Miss Sue

Hi! My name is Katelyn, it's a pleasure to meet you. After graduating High school I went on to babysit and nanny for several families. I worked as a nanny for a wonderful family for almost 3 years while attending college. I graduated Alamance Community College with a Degree in Culinary Arts in June 2020 . After working in a professional kitchen for almost 2 years, I realized that my true passion is being involved in the lives of children through nannying, and that I want to make this my full-time career. Having an opportunity to make a difference in a child's life by caring for them is a dream job! I love interacting with children through story time, imaginary play, music, arts, crafts, and outdoor activities! I have 8 total years of experience working with children. I'm also Pediatric CPR, First Aid, and AED certified. In my free time I love to bake and cook, go shopping, stay active by engaging in outdoor activities, and spend time with my family and friends.I look forward to meeting you and your children.
