Hello! My name is Charlotte, and I have numerous years of experience working with children as both a nanny and a Pre-K Teacher Assistant. I have a natural ease with children and enjoy supporting their learning and development through play, reading, various activities and outside time. I have had Infant & Child First Aid/CPR trainings and I also completed an Early Childhood Education Certificate course. As a mom myself, I really value the importance of the role of a caring, attentive nanny! I take great satisfaction in feeling as though parents can see their child is safe, happy and engaged in my care. It truly is a joy to watch young minds grow and foster their curiosity of the world.

Hi! I'm Shannon, a 28 year old who lives in Raleigh and babysits for a living. I have reliable transportation and I'm CPR/ First Aid certified. I have been babysitting since I was 17 professionally. I started watching children with autism at 18 until last year because I became a full time nanny. I'm taking time off from Wake Technical Community college to save up money and figure out exactly which career I would like to pursue. I would love to talk on the phone, meet for coffee, an dome over to meet your family. I'm friendly, respectful, prompt, and tidy. Look forward to hearing from you! Shannon

I have been a nanny for 10+ years. I am 45 years old and have 2 "kids" that are 23 and 25. I worked in corporate environment with major companies such as IBM, GlaxoSmithKline, Sony Ericsson, etc. until layoffs made me reconsider my employment. While I was considering alternatives, I was asked to nanny for a couple that were our neighbors at the time. I did and have been in love with it since. I have kept children from birth to 12 yrs old. I've kept from one child to up to 4 children, including multiples. I have been with current family almost 5 years. I started with 6 week old twins full time and their 2 year old sister part time and during summers. They are now 4 and a half and 7. They will all be in school starting in September and I would like to stay on with them for after school care from 2:30 - 5:15 if possible. I am CPR and first aid certified and have attended many and various childcare/nanny training conferences and classes. This is by far the most fulfilling and emjoyable work I've ever known (other than raising my own children). I consider it an honor to be a part of so many children's lives as well as being an extention of amazing families. I love getting up each morning to see these precious faces greet me with smiles and cheers of "Miss Amy!!" Please feel free to contact me at any time to discuss and address any questions.

My name is Christy and I have over 18 years of experience working with young children along with a degree in Early Childhood Education. The majority of my experience is with infants, ages 12 weeks to 12 months. 14 years of this experience was working for a well-known, upscale 5-star child care facilities. Job responsibilities included managing a classroom of 7 infants, keeping daily records for each child, ensuring that all requirements were met on a daily basis, writing lesson plans and developing age-appropriate activities based on individual development. For one year, I was a nanny for twins, 8 months of age at the start. After that I spent 2 years caring for 2 boys, ages 3 months and 13 months at start. Daily notes for each child were provided, including feedings, nap times, activities and special communication when necessary. Over the past couple of years, I worked in nanny shares with 4 different families, with children ranging from age 8 months to 2 years. ** I recently added babysitting to my profile. The availability is very flexible during evenings and weekends. I would love to meet you and your family!

Hi, my name is Tara, and I am an experienced and passionate nanny. I have been providing childcare services for over 10 years now, and I love every moment of it. I grew up in the beautiful state of Vermont and attended the University of Vermont, where I received a degree in elementary education. After working in special education for a few years, I returned to my roots in childcare. I started babysitting when I was a teenager. Over the years, I have worked with numerous families, providing care for children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. Building strong relationships with both parents and children is one of my strengths, and I take pride in the trust that families have placed in me. In 2019, I moved to New York City and began working full-time as a nanny. As I became more involved with the families I worked with, I began taking on household tasks during my downtime. I found that I enjoyed this aspect of my work and have since taken on hybrid roles as a nanny and household assistant. My approach to childcare is kind, patient, and nurturing. I believe that creating a safe and loving environment is essential for a child's development and well-being. I take pride in my ability to manage household tasks while also ensuring that the children in my care are happy, healthy, and well-cared for. Being a nanny has been a fulfilling and rewarding experience for me, and I look forward to continuing to provide quality care for families in the future.

My 'Prime Objective' as a Caregiver is nurturing a sense of wonder and curiosity in preschoolers -- and imagination plus reality-based competencies in the over-5s. (While keeping them safe and cared for, of course!) And I really prefer to avoid electronic screens for children! That's why I love to read with children. And bring intriguing books from my collection from classic to modern... Plus I'm always up for outdoor fun! And getting down on the floor and building things. Over years, I've put together a big wooden train collection with a SUITCASE full of tracks, specialty pieces like bridges, tunnels, ramps and connectors, with several battery powered remote controllable locomotives. Children 3-9 can literally spend enthralled HOURS assembling their own creative layouts then running trains. (While naturally enhancing their spatial intelligence, collaboration skills and 'stick-to-it-ness'...) Other options: a set of colorful wood blocks; tea sets (covert etiquette lessons and cookie baking!); princess and knight costumes for feeling special and dress-up play; Nerfball shooters (with eye protection!). An old-fashioned portable record player with classic vintage story records. Art supplies, an easel, squirt guns and sprinkler... For several years, I worked as a private-duty CNA and in-home Caregiver for elderly and disabled people. This type of upscale agency work requires immaculate background checks, excellent health, clean drug tests, reliability and being on time, as well as cheerfulness, compassion and competence. Now, I'm semi-retired, active and healthy, and LOVE interacting with children. In high school, I babysat for most of the kids in our neighborhood, was a paid Girl Scout Day Camp Counselor with full charge of eight 9 year old girls, had Red Cross Lifesaver Swimming Certification, and taught horseback riding. Have First Aid and CPR Certificates and recent college Certificate In Child Development. Have experience with autistic and medically fragile children. A recent review, from an ER nurse: "Just wanted to say thank you again for the great care that Sue gave the boys yesterday. She's so patient and amazing and I like the fact that she's mature and is a grandparent herself. She brought her own books and toys and the boys just had a blast with her. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking care, she definitely is an asset..." Allison RN 💚Miss Sue
