Positive, energetic and upbeat British Professional childcare provider, with a combined experience of over 35 years+, working with children and families in both public and private settings.Working with children has been my life's passion! I have first hand experience in raising and supporting my own 3 grown children, and providing continued care for my 3 young grandsons. I began my journey of caring for children at the age of 12 years, taking on babysitting jobs. As a stay at home mum, I started my own private in-home daycare, providing childcare to many friends and family. When my own children attended school I took a job working for the Omaha Schools Foundation, working as a childcare assistant in the before and after school childcare program. I quickly became an assistant director, and soon after advanced into the director position, where I continued to work for 5+ years running the daycare site. From there I then transitioned into the schools classrooms and media center working alongside teachers as a Paraprofessional for another 5+ years. Most recently my career has evolved into more positions working with Omaha Birth & Babies, working as a personal contractor, as a postpartum/newborn care doula, travel nanny, and full time Professional nanny. My many jobs have have been all about providing continuous help and support to individual families in need. In 1982 my family immigrated to America from the United Kingdom. I come from a hard working, loving family of 7. I consider myself a very young at heart, active, fit, adventurous person. Being outdoors is my favorite place. I enjoy fishing, hiking, boating, camping, swimming and beaches. I power walk daily, love dancing and reading, have a deep love for all music. I thoroughly enjoy trying new foods, learning new things and cultures, and making new friends. I firmly believe in healthy foods, fitness, fun and fresh air! My greatest love is spending time with family and friends. I strive to help children become happier, healthier and more well behaved, while continuing to provide a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop life's skills. Hello!!! My name is Kiera and I am currently looking for some babysitting care before I start my full-time job, and with hopes to still babysit here and there after I start that. I started out babysitting when I was around 11-years-old when my aunt had her first child, and then I loved it so much I wanted to nanny for other families and did that for about 6-7 years!
