I am a creative and responsible young lady. I love children and aim to be a positive role model. I have experience with children ages newborn-17. I also have experience with special needs children ages 2-15. I am very paitent, reliable, and caring. I like to have the children feeling comfortable and happy around me. I know children will miss their parents so I give every child care and compassion. My care style is more fun and relaxed; actively interacting with the child and getting everything done in an orderly fashion. I am currently in college for my BA in Psychology. I graduated in May 2024 with my AS in Teacher Education with a undergrad in Special Education. I love kids of all ages. I do not mind light housework, homework help, taking care of pets, or going outside. I appreciate any oppertunity that may come my way.

Although I enjoy tending to children the most, I can also do some light housekeeping, nanny, pet watch, meal plan, and travel wherever I'm needed. If you need your kids watched for a few hours for a date night or something more regular like after school pick ups when school starts again, I can be that person! 😀

This is something that comes naturally to me. I grew up in a family daycare and started helping the owner everyday after school by the time I was 12. I stayed until mid-high school and tried other jobs but went back to childcare as I missed it. I have worked for a few families and some daycare centers. Hi! My name is Sarah and I teach 3rd grade in Lawrence, MA. Prior to teaching 3rd, I was a "Pod Teacher" for 12 students in Amesbury, MA from 2020-2021, and a graduate student while working as a 1st grade teacher from 2019-2020. Before my teaching career, I was a nanny and I absolutely loved it! The last family that I nannied for I met in February 2017 before graduating with a bachelors degree in Spanish from Saint Michael's College. The mother and father had a 15 month old daughter and a son on the way. I began nannying for them full time (Monday-Friday 7am-6pm, sometimes weekends, sometimes traveling on vacations with them). When I began my journey to become a teacher and pursue a graduate degree at Merrimack College in 2019, they fully supported me. This family has become a 2nd family to me, and I to them. Hello, My name is Amanda and I am looking to care for your child/children on full time, part time, occasional or one-time basis. I currently have open availability. I am very organized and love some structure to ensure that the child/children are having fun play but also have some educational activities included to help them grow and learn. I have been babysitting/nannying children for over 20 years. I have cared for up to 4 children at one time and have cared for ages newborn up to 21 years old with a disability. I have assisted and helped with children with speech delays which included being present at the speech visits and continuing their suggestions after the appointment. Some sign language was also used to assist with this process. When I am caring for a newborn/infant I will always record our daily agenda to help keep track of feedings, diaper changes and nap times. I have also done overnight care. I have a 8 year old step son that I help raise full time. I have helped raise my niece since she was born and she is now 9 years old. I have had experience with feeding, nap time, meal prep, changing diapers, transporting to/from school and play dates. I have experience with twins and Autistic children. I have also supervised children swimming. In most of my roles I have assisted with light housekeeping and errands. Some activities I enjoy doing with children is growth and development activities, flash cards, puzzles, play games, do arts and crafts, reading, going to parks, outside and inside assorted activities. I have dogs and cats so being around animals is not a problem. I have been CPR/First AID certified however, that has since expired but I am willing to recertify.
