Rita did a fabulous job caring for our 7 month old while we were visiting Ogunquit, Maine. Rita communicated well with us leading up to and during the babysitting gig, and she was very playful and caring with our baby. We look forward to hiring Rita again for the next time we are visiting the area!

Hi my name is Oriah and I am very passionate about kids. I love kids of all ages but especially love babies. I have recently graduated from UNH with a degree in Human Development & Family Studies and a minor in Anthropology. I have an array of experiences working with children. I have newborn experience, and have had long term nanny positions with multiple families. I also have experience working at a preschool. I am patient, energetic and goofy. I love art and being creative as well as the outdoors. I think it is extremely important for children to develop a loving relationship with nature and the outdoors. I think the most important factor for a babysitter and a family is to have open communication. I hope you consider hiring me as your babysitter because I truly enjoy working with children. Please message me if you need help! I am currently looking for 25-30 hours a week this Spring/Summer

Oriah was wonderful. Prompt and communicative, asked thoughtful and thorough questions about our daughter's care. Our daughter took to her immediately and we felt very confident with her care while we were out. We would not hesitate to use Oriah again.

Amy has been a nanny for more than two years to our two young children who are now ages 3 and 6. Outside of being flexible, reliable, punctual and extremely loyal, she has a heart of gold and has loved our children as her own. She has used her early childhood education degree to teach early academic concepts, do various arts and crafts projects and created an environment of sharing and turn-taking. She initiates bi-weekly library trips, visits to the animal farms, walks on the beach, exploring the backyard with magnifying glasses (just to name a few) all on her own. She has given our girls routine and structure, helped provide healthy meals and is extremely conscious of their safety. Amy is also a reliable driver who takes them to swimming class, soccer practice and preschool. She also helps around the house by assisting the girls with their chores of putting away laundry, sweeping floors and watering plants. She encourages their independence — including potty training, putting on their own shoes, their own clothes, brushing their teeth and washing themselves in the bath. Amy is excellent about outdoor time even in the chilly weather; she has taught them how to ride bikes, scoot scooters, pump their legs on the swings and build snowmen. She is a great friend with a great sense of humor who has taught and uses good manners, is excellent at kissing boo-boos and gives great goodbye hugs at the bus stop. Any family would be lucky to have Amy!

Hello! My name is Jessica, and I’m excited to introduce myself. I hold an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education and am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree to further expand my knowledge and skills in the field. I’ve most recently worked as a center director, a role that has provided me with invaluable experience in managing programs, overseeing staff, and ensuring that children receive high-quality care. However, since the birth of my daughter in July, I’ve realized that I’m looking for a change. The demands of my current position have made it challenging to find the right work-life balance, and I would love to explore a new opportunity that allows me to be more present with her. Ideally, I’m seeking a position that would allow me to bring my daughter along with me while continuing to contribute to the field I’m so passionate about. I believe this would provide the best of both worlds for me—being able to support my career growth while also cherishing the precious time with my little one. Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about me. I look forward to the possibility of finding a role that aligns with both my professional goals and personal values.

I have a lot of experience with babysitting from ages <1 year to around 12 years old! I have also had experience with tutoring kids around the 9-13 years old which gives me good experience to help with homework, etc. I am a freshman in the College of General Studies at Boston University and am looking for some part time work on weekends or possibly one weekday (around 5-6 hrs a week). I recently had a gap semester where I spent most of it (32 hrs a week) nannying for two different families (one boy - 1 y/o and the other family 2 girls - 2 and 4 y/o) and I really grew to love the work and the kids so much so I’m hoping to find that here as well! I love working with kids and really enjoy the work I have been able to do with them in the past which makes me very hardworking on the job and fun for the kids!

Nurturing young minds is more than a job for me; it's my true passion. I've dedicated much of my career to providing care for children from infancy to age 5. I prefer to work with individual families at this stage of my career because it allows me to provide more individualized experiences. I have a literal trunkload of art:/science/math projects geared for any age. I have a self-designed BS in incorporating the arts into Early Childhood Education, a CDA, and am current in CPR and First Aid. I have a comprehensive portfolio to share with you. I create learning experiences that are engaging and fun. I'm reliable, patient, calm and imaginative. I love to get children outdoors to explore the natural world and assist in physical development. I look forward to speaking with you about the needs of your little one(s)!
