Hello! My name is Kassidy, and I am a senior at SNHU studying Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology. I am looking for a family to nanny for the summer while I am home, from the end of April to the end of August. I have worked at a daycare for 5+ years, have been babysittng for longer, and I love working with children, especially infants. I am CPR and first aid certified, along with many other trainings. For the past two years, I've had the joy of caring for children 18 months to 3 years old in a toddler room at a daycare. I also have about 6 years experience of babysitting children ages 3 months to 10 years old. I find it incredibly rewarding to watch children grow and learn. I believe it's truly important to create a warm and trusting bond with a child, so they always feel safe, loved, and cared for. My approach is patient and calm, and I love engaging kids with creative activities. I absolutely love spending time outside! I prioritize clear communication with you, whether through updates at pickup, texts, or your preferred method. I have some college education (12 credits in early childhood education)and hold current certifications in CPR and First Aid. I am comfortable caring for up to three children and have my own car. I am a mother of three successful adult children. I’ve spent my life caring for children of all ages. Most recently, I resigned from my position as a high school English teacher after 18 years of service in the same district where I worked starting as a para educator in the elementary school. I hold a Masters degree in education where child development and psychosocial courses were required. My only calling has been to care for children. My goal is always to foster a love for learning, creating, and exploring in a safe space and place where children can feel empowered and motivated to challenge themselves. I always seek to teach children, kindness, and open mindedness so that they may gracefully and bravely interact with the with the world around them. I would describe myself as warm and nurturing, as my high school students always told me I gave major, “ mom vibes.” My experience caring for young children includes nannying for three young boys as a college student, working for the VNA’s after school program and summer camp program, also as a college student, childcare work at a gym, and raising my own children.My references primarily come from colleagues and principals I’ve worked with.
