I became an early childhood educator because I want to leave the world better than I found it. While earning my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Care at Bridgewater State University I discovered and became passionate about mindfulness. Mindfulness is “focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations”.
