I am a small business owner with two daughters of my own (12, and 16) who are needing me less and less. I love taking care of children and started babysitting when I was 11 years old. I’m the oldest sister of 4, and have always had to take care of small children. I became an early childhood educator because I want to leave the world better than I found it. More often than not, children are my best teachers because of how vulnerable, emotional and honest they are. I started working as a nanny in 2013 while I was taking classes at Middlesex Community College, and knew then that I wanted to work with primarily with young children. While earning my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Care at Bridgewater State University I discovered and became passionate about mindfulness. I have developed and implemented mindfulness curriculum, teaching infants, toddlers and preschoolers at The Children's Center at Groton, Concord and Newton Montessori Schools.
