Hello! My name is Becky! I have spent the past 8 years as an elementary special education teacher, and loved pouring my heart into helping children learn and grow. I specialized in helping students learn to use whole language for all kinds of communication. I am also a singer and artist and love incorporating music, crafts, and creativity into learning. I am currently taking a break from teaching to spend more time with my 16 month old daughter, who is my whole world. I’m looking for a part time nanny position for 1-2 children that would welcome my daughter to come along. I look forward to filling our days with play, learning, laughter, and creativity.

I have a degree in Early Childhood Education, and 25 years of experience caring for children from infants to teenagers, including babysitting, being a nanny/household manager, teaching preschool, teaching gymnastics, and coaching cheerleading. I also have my own small business (Braids and Butterflies Spa Parties), hosting spa parties for girls ages 4 to 12. I have been working with children my entire adult life, and couldn't see myself doing anything else. Finding the "right fit" is very important to me, as I believe that communication is key and things go much more smoothly when everyone is on the same page. Being a nanny is more than a job to me; I form lasting relationships with the families that I care for, and I take pride in becoming an extension of family to the children in my care. I'm a trustworthy, organized, capable self-starter, and I enjoy being out and about with children, doing fun activities or even everyday errands. I'm also a proud mom to a wonderful almost 5 yr old girl, who would be joining me. Kelsey is sweet, easy-going, and is used to working with me. She is very helpful and loves making friends! I like to keep busy and I'm open to doing other household tasks such as laundry, organizing, grocery shopping/errands. I drive a minivan and have a safe driving record, and excellent references! Ideally I am looking for 10-20 hours per week, but can be flexible and I am open to working with more than one family. Also interested in occasional babysitting. Hi my name is Christina, I am a 30 year old single mommy to a 3.5 year old little boy and we are looking to fill our days with some fun as well as help some fellow mommy's and daddy's. I have decided to put my culinary career on hold as I haven't been able to find reliable childcare since the pandemic and cook life doesn't always coincide with parent life. I used to fill my time after high school watching my mother's friends children. I enjoyed it so much that I watched families from time to time while working night shifts after I graduated. While looking for the perfect chef job I found a nanny job and I loved that family so much I nannied for their family of 3 children full time for a year and then as needed for 4 years after.
