I am a Middle School teacher who has always had a passion for working with children. I grew up being the oldest of 5 children and found myself always caring for my siblings. I have worked with children of all ages and abilities. Besides working in the school system I have also provided in home therapy for children with autism. My goal is to create a fun and engaging experience for all children. Along with this I am also a lover of animals.

Hi my name is Kelly Daugherty and I am 22 years old. I am going to be graduating from Southern New Hampshire University this year (May 3). My major is early childhood development and I hope to own my own day care when I am older! I have always been around kids because of my younger cousins and close family friends. I have had a couple different babysitting jobs that have ranged in ages 9 weeks to 9 years old. Most take place when I am home for the summer! I have two nephews (age 7 and 3 years old) and a niece (3 years old) that I watch from time to time as well! I have the summer off and have pretty flexible schedule! I am a substitute teacher in SAU 48 but mainly subbed at CES. I had a background check in April 2023 to work as a sub! Thank you for taking your time to read my Bio and I hope you consider me!

I am the proud mother of 2 amazing children and 2 rescue dogs. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and have worked at 2 day care centers and have been babysitting since I was 13 years old. I am kind, patient and fun. My dependability and honesty speak for themselves! Let me help ease your daily burdens. I can provide light cleaning, meal preparation, child and pet care and would be willing to house-sit if needed! Can't wait to chat with you to see if I am the right fit for your family!

I am a professional Nanny with 20+ years of childcare experience. I had a BS in Early Childhood Development from Keene State College and have raised two children of my own - an adult daughter and fourteen-year-old son. While I have worked as a Infant, Toddler and Preschool teacher, I prefer work as a Nanny so I can completely focus on one family and their children. I feel it is important to allow floor time for infants, to let them stretch out their bodies and I am with them, offering toys and talking to them and to encourage them to reaching out for toys, and moving their bodies. I love language development and have a way to encourage sounds and responses. I have the ability to calm any baby down quickly, I work on the calm checklist, is the baby hungry? wet? tired? needing cuddles? I believe toddlers require activities with sensory play. Simple crafts (using paints more for the 'feel' than any particular project) can be a great tool for this kind of development. Songs/game also grow in importance for continued language development. Preschoolers are actively learning letters, numbers, colors, and all about the world around them. Imaginative games and playing dress-up can help encourage social development while small-motor skills can be developed through coloring and cutting with scissors. Finally, learning to dress themselves (including outside clothes) is an important skill to develop as children prepare for Kindergarten. For all ages, I think reading and time outdoors in the fresh air are crucial. So, I work to make sure these are part of the daily routine. I also feel that children should have limited "screen time". I really love to support mothers! So, I will do light housekeeping and shopping if that is required. I also know how to make great, nutritional meals. A particular favorite are baked kale chips! What a great, savory flavor and crunch! I would like to work full time, but can consider part time. I am currently working but will be available in August 2016. I hope to hear from you. Nanny Nell
