My experience as a nanny/preschool assistant teacher has brought such a joy to my life. I have enjoyed learning all of the different ways the children learn. I feel like I had part in fostering a positive learning environment for children and getting to know each and everyone of the children on a personal level. I feel that I would be a great addition to your family.
I achieved 4 years of preschool experience at “The Preschool at Adath Shalom”. At school I was the assistant in the 2 year old room, I assisted the lead teacher in setting up the classroom to prepare for the daily activities. During free play I felt very connected to the children in my care, and sitting on the floor and teaching the children how to put a puzzle together and then later on in the year the child showing me how proud they are that they could complete it themselves. I would supervise the children as well as play with them in the areas chosen. I also dealt with any needs having to do with potty training\diaper changing. During the afternoon I was the afternoon coordinator where I would plan different activities for the children having to do with science, cooking, and fun, and games. During that time I would take the children for nature walks and go exploring for different items. It was such a rewarding experience in helping to mold the child's lives. Sadly after 4 years of being opened the school ended up closing being the lack of enrollment. With my time there I stayed as the late day worker and many evenings when parents arrived to pick up there children I received many compliments and thank yous for sending there kids home with those big smiles still on their faces.
I love so much that children are such sponges, and love learning so much.
They just adsorb everything. It's the best feeling knowing when they are going home and having the kids are having their families sitting for circle time and singing all of the songs they love. That feeling you get as a teacher is one you can never get from another position. I am so glad I get to be a part of it.
Thank you for taking the time to read my cover letter. I look forward to corresponding with you soon. I hope it becomes a good fit. I would love to join your family.
