Hello! I am looking for a full time position as I transition from working for the Department of Education. I am enrolled in remote classes at The City College of New York, working on my Bilingual Childhood Education BA. I have a very friendly, welcoming, and nurturing personality. I am an older sister, we have an 9 year gap which, of course, deemed me her personal (un)official babysitter. I also have both professional and personal experience with infants. I also lived with a close family and was closely involved in caring for her twin infants during their first 18 months, supporting and implementing routines and development. I am comfortable and connect with all ages. I love parks, museums, and anything outdoors! I am open to answer any questions so we can get to know each other further.

Yamelis has been an exceptional nanny for our infant, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have found her. From day one, she has shown genuine warmth, patience, and attentiveness. She is highly reliable, always punctual, and communicates clearly about our baby’s day, including feedings, naps, and milestones. Yamelis creates a calm, nurturing environment that makes our child feel safe and happy. She is knowledgeable about infant development and engages our baby with age-appropriate activities that encourage growth and curiosity. We fully trust her judgment and care. Any family would be lucky to have Yamelis as their nanny.

Hello Moms & Dads :)- Please take a moment to read all 🌹 My availability is 8am-6pm weekdays. I am available for a weekend on occasion or special events when discussed in advance. A little about me 😊My name is Stephanie, born & raised in NYC. I was studying law in college when I ended up having my child and realized my passion laid with children and decided to pursue a degree in childhood education instead. I am a developmental specialist who is blessed to work remotely with the DOH while being a career nanny over the last 20 years. I have extensive experience with premature infants-8yr olds. Both typical & neuro divergent 🌈and have worked with families of all different cultures/beliefs. I am well versed in the milestones a child should achieve and as a caregiver I implement age appropriate goals to make sure that I work with each child on all their domains of development including their cognitive, social, language, academic (if applicable) and physical; although safety & FUN is always my #1 priority. Working with children requires patience, empathy, being passionate about it and understanding that every child is different in their own way. 🍃 I believe that good communication between parents and all caregivers is essential so that everyone is on the same page. As a mom myself I understand how difficult it can be specially for first time parents to separate from their child and feel like they are "missing out" or having a sense of guilt kick in and I'm here to make the process easier and provide ease. For parents with multiple children struggling to find alone or couple time, I am there to insure your mind is at ease with regards to your children’s care while you get some much needed girl/self/couples time. I am CPR certified and update it every 2 years. I am a non smoker. I don't do corporal punishment hence I am not a good fit with parents that do.. love pets 🐶🐱 Best of luck to everyone in their search- And Enjoy every moment. Your child will never be the age that they are today & those small moments are precious 💎. Don’t compare them to other children & always notice their strengths 💪 for there is only one of them ❤️❤️ 🌸🌸Note: I homeschool my teen who will at times accompany me and be doing his school work on the computer for the most part. This hasn’t been an issue in the past as can be seen by my reviews but completely understand the parents who are not comfortable despite the transparency.

Stephanie became such a special part of our family during the year she worked with us part time. I especially loved being able to bounce ideas off of her about my older child and find ways to encourage a bond between my two children despite their age difference. She gave me an outside perspective that, as a parent, I sometimes needed, and I truly believe she helped me reconnect with my older child in a way that brought us back to the closeness we had when he was little. She was honest, dependable, and so capable of handling whatever needed to be done when I couldn’t. Having her son around, seeing their relationship was such a beautiful example of the kind of relationship I hope to have with my own children as they grow. She really did become family, and I would recommend her wholeheartedly to any parent, especially one who feels nervous about having a nanny. She is so much more than a nanny.

Personally I am a very friendly person and a college student. Currently enrolling to become a nurse I like to take care of people and mostly kids being a older sister I have the patience and understand single moms and married couples with needing help for their loved ones. I will do the work of babysitting just because its something I like to do. I understand the economy is down and most families will not be able to pay high but I will be negotiable and understand. I would like to help for weekend babsitting and help families out.

Lizzy was very responsive to us and very kind to our boy. She made sure there was everything to know about our 22 month old and she delivered on her promise of taking care of him. Sadly this was a one time thing since we are not from NJ. If otherwise I would definitely hire her as our regular nanny. Hopefully next time we visit NJ she’ll be around.

Hello! My name is Sharon, and I am an enthusiastic and experienced babysitter currently working in a school. I truly enjoy supporting children’s growth while creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment. I live in Little Ferry, I am 30 years old, and I speak both Spanish and English. I have over 8 years of experience working with children, from infants to preschoolers, including 5 years as a teacher’s assistant in a school program and 3 years as a full-time nanny. I hold a CDA (Child Development Associate) certificate, CPR training, and an Associate degree. During the school year, I work Monday through Friday, and I enjoy working with families on weekends and occasionally whenever extra help is needed. Starting in June, I will be available for a more consistent position with a family. I truly love working with children. My goal is always to care for them, guide them, and support their development according to their age. Creating a space where they feel safe, happy, and excited to learn is my mission. I would be happy to provide references upon request.

We were in NJ to visit family for a week over the holidays, and Sharon watched our boys (ages 3.5 and 1.5) for about 8 hours almost every day we were there. She was absolutely wonderful for our boys. She showed up exactly on time each day with a contagiously bright and positive energy. We were limited to indoor activities, and even still, Sharon kept our boys busy and happy all day. We did have some arts and crafts supplies ready, as well as some toys, but she also came prepared with activities. She was communicative, patient, and very loving to our boys. My wife was in bed sick all week, but she was able to rest in peace knowing that Sharon was with our boys. It’s very apparent that she is experienced in being with children and intuiting their needs. We hope to work with Sharon many more times in the future!

I love working with children because of their curiosity, energy, and the joy they bring to each day. My experience spans several years in various childcare settings, where I have developed a deep understanding of child development and a knack for creating engaging, nurturing environments that promote learning and growth. What sets me apart from others is my genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential, my patience, and my ability to connect with each child on a personal level. I am dedicated to fostering a safe, positive atmosphere where children feel valued and encouraged to explore their creativity and individuality.

We are so lucky to have Laila care for our 3-month-old baby girl! She is very warm and kind. She was able to quickly soothe my baby and help her fall asleep for a nap. Our baby felt so safe and comfortable sleeping in her arms. It's obvious that Laila is highly experienced with infants. She is truly an amazing nanny, and I highly recommend her!

We were so glad to have Casey with our two little ones, ages 5 and 1. She was punctual, kept in great communication, and asked all the right questions to make sure she followed our routine exactly. She left everything clean and tidy, and our kids felt at ease with her. Any family would be lucky to have her.
