I am very comfortable helping with homework, teaching basic life skills (such as cleaning up after themselves, manners, and empathy), and adapting to diverse learning styles and developmental needs, including disabilities. Much of my childcare experience began in Virginia, where I worked with Girl Scouts and was a sailing instructor. I am a young, active 63 year-old mother of three grown children and Grandma of two, who has always loved kids. I've enjoyed being a homemaker most of my life, but have held many other babysitting/nanny jobs over the last 40 years.
