I love working with children because of their curiosity, energy, and the joy they bring to each day. My experience spans several years in various childcare settings, where I have developed a deep understanding of child development and a knack for creating engaging, nurturing environments that promote learning and growth. What sets me apart from others is my genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential, my patience, and my ability to connect with each child on a personal level. I am dedicated to fostering a safe, positive atmosphere where children feel valued and encouraged to explore their creativity and individuality.

We feel so lucky to have Laila caring for our little one full-time. Being a mom of four herself, her experience shines through in every interaction, but she’s also wonderfully respectful of how we want to raise our child and follows our routines effortlessly. She is incredibly attentive, kind, and always manages to get big smiles out of our baby. Any family would be lucky to have her!

Stephanie became such a special part of our family during the year she worked with us part time. I especially loved being able to bounce ideas off of her about my older child and find ways to encourage a bond between my two children despite their age difference. She gave me an outside perspective that, as a parent, I sometimes needed, and I truly believe she helped me reconnect with my older child in a way that brought us back to the closeness we had when he was little. She was honest, dependable, and so capable of handling whatever needed to be done when I couldn’t. Having her son around, seeing their relationship was such a beautiful example of the kind of relationship I hope to have with my own children as they grow. She really did become family, and I would recommend her wholeheartedly to any parent, especially one who feels nervous about having a nanny. She is so much more than a nanny.

As a first-time mom to a 3-month-old baby, finding someone I truly trust with my son was incredibly important. From the moment we met, Vanessa put me at ease with her warmth, professionalism, and obvious experience caring for infants. She is punctual, reliable, trustworthy, and wonderful with babies. She was attentive to my son’s needs, followed instructions carefully, and handled every situation with confidence and patience. It was clear that she genuinely enjoys working with children and takes her responsibilities seriously. One thing that was especially important to our family is that we have two dogs, and she was completely comfortable around them as well. She interacted with both our infant and our pets naturally and respectfully, making her a great fit for our household. As a parent, peace of mind is priceless, and she gave me exactly that. I would highly recommend her to any family looking for a dependable, caring, and experienced nanny, especially for infant care. Anyone would be lucky to have Vanessa care for their child!

I’m an experienced childcare professional who has babysat for many families over the years, caring for children from newborns and infants through school age. Because I’ve worked with so many different families and age groups, I’m comfortable stepping into a new household, learning a family’s routines and expectations, and building rapport with children quickly. I previously worked for a babysitting agency providing childcare for families both in their homes and at hotels. This gave me experience working with families I was often meeting for the first time and helped me become very adaptable and confident helping children feel comfortable with a new caregiver. I understand that parents may be leaving their child with someone new, so I make communication, safety, and helping both the child and parents feel at ease a priority. Many of my babysitting relationships have also developed naturally through my professional childcare positions. While working as an after-school educator and coach, several families whose children I worked with began hiring me privately for babysitting. The same happened while I worked at an infant center caring for babies ages 6 weeks to 15 months. I really value that families who saw how I interacted with and cared for their children trusted me to continue caring for them outside of those settings. My broader childcare experience includes working as a full-time nanny, infant teacher, baby nurse at a postpartum resort, ABA therapist, special needs camp counselor, and after-school educator and coach. This has given me experience with everything from feeding, bottles, diapering, soothing, naps, and bedtime routines to play, homework help, outings, and caring for multiple children. I am also EMT certified and previously served for six years as a medic in the U.S. Army. My medical background has provided extensive training in first aid, emergency response, and safety. I’m warm, patient, dependable, and very hands-on with children. One of my strengths is being able to build rapport quickly, which is especially important when babysitting children who may not know me yet. I want children to feel safe and comfortable with me while also having fun, whether we’re playing, reading, doing an activity, or simply following their normal evening routine.

Hi everyone! My name is Esmina! I have over 7 years of experience in professional care plus a little over 5 years of my own as I have a beautiful daughter who just turn 5 in April. Before having my daughter, I was a mother’s helper to an awesome family in Long Island, NY. My position was a mix of everything! I picked up the kids from school, drove them to doctors appointments, play dates and extracurricular activities. I ran errands such as pharmacy trips and grocery shopping. I took the kids from the time they got home from school until bedtime as we had a solid bedtime routine. Laundry was done, folded and put away at least 2x per week as well. I love to cook so I made the family dinner every night and the kids loved it when I cooked! They also became interested and wanted to help me 😊. I enjoy what I do and love being around children… when you’re a parent they become your whole world. The mama bear instincts are there and I would care for yours as if they were mine! Look forward to meeting you!

🌿 About Me I am originally from the beautiful island of St. Lucia and love returning whenever I can. Being outdoors is one of my greatest joys—I enjoy gardening, planting, and making the most of fresh air. 👩👧 Family & Background I’m a proud parent of two children who graduated from Rutgers University (New Brunswick). My passion for creativity inspired me to pursue studies in Child Development at Penn Foster, though I had to defer my certification for personal reasons. 🎨 Childcare Approach As a childcare provider, I enjoy sharing my love of nature, creativity, and art with children. I believe in creating a fun, enriching environment where kids can learn, explore, and grow. 🍼 Experience Since 2021, I have worked as a nanny for three families, caring for children ranging in age from 5 months to 5 years old. Most recently, in 2025, I cared for a 5‑month‑old, providing attentive supervision, preparing light snacks, and assisting with light housekeeping. These experiences have strengthened my ability to adapt to different family needs while ensuring children feel safe, loved, and engaged. I look forward to meeting your family and providing reliable, caring support for your little ones!
