Where to begin... My love for children and first "babysitting" job started way back when I was only 11yrs old caring for a neighbor's 4-month-old all by myself! (Times sure were different, yes?) By the time I graduated HS, I was babysitting EVERYONE in the neighborhood and continued to do so for neighbors and family way beyond my college years! I spent 13yrs as an Art teacher and private (non-Art) tutor for children aged 3-14 in a fast paced environment, I’ve been an Aide in PreK3-1st grade, and I have nannied for 2 families. From many years in the Education field, as well as my babysitting/nannying experience, I'd say that I've developed quite a few skills when it comes to understanding the needs of a child, as well as the patience and kindness required to help them learn and grow in a safe environment.
