From 2019 to 2022, I relocated from Virginia to New Jersey to be a full-time caregiver for my grandfather, who was living with Parkinson’s disease and later entered hospice care. Much of my childcare experience began in Virginia, where I worked with Girl Scouts and was a sailing instructor.
