My name is Vanessa and I am 31 years old. I am a Stockton University graduate and have a Bachelor's degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling/Therapy which I obtained from Capella University. I was previously a full time therapist at a behavioral and mental health residential facility for children and adolescents in Jacksonville FL. I am CPR certified. I am available to babysit in my home (I can pick your child/children up and return to your home whatever time needed) or I can come to your home as well. I am educated on the stages of child development and have experience with private child care for about 20 years. I was a babysitter in South Jersey where I grew up, for three families, two with little girls, and one little boy. The two oldest girls were 9 and 10 and the youngest were 4 and 5. The little boy was 9 as well. I watched the oldest girl since she was one and one of the youngest since she was born. They became like sisters to me and I loved watching them grow and loved having a helping hand in their development. In addition, I was a nanny for two girls for 4.5 years who are now ages 16 and 18. I enjoy doing arts and crafts, drawing with chalk, playing outside, doing homework, reading, counting, watching movies, playing with toys and games, hiking, sports and learning new activities and hobbies from the kids! I am experienced in doing household duties (cooking, cleaning, laundry, caring for pets, running errands, driving to and from sports/playdates). I recently babysat for a family in Rhode Island and had my son accompany me who played nicely with their 2 year old son. At this time I am looking to babysit/nanny while allowing my husband to further his career and for me to still be able to be with our children and do what I love, babysit!
