Hello! I recently moved out of New York City leaving my job in childcare (ages prek-8th) of 3 years. Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy working with kids and being a positive part of their day. It’s really rewarding to build connections with kids and help them learn, grow, and gain confidence. What experience do you have? I have a strong background working with children in a variety of settings. I’ve worked in a preschool with children ages 3–5, have experience babysitting, and taught first grade in Paterson, New Jersey. I’m currently working as a paraprofessional supporting children with special needs, which has given me even more hands-on experience with different learning styles, behaviors, and individualized support. What skills and training do you have? My education is in psychology, and I’m currently in school to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. This has given me a strong understanding of child development, behavior, and emotional support. I’m patient, reliable, and able to adapt to each child’s unique needs.
