I started this field when I was only 13 years old for a family friend who's son has Autism and other learning disabilities. I stayed with this family for 8 years, when needed, and did overnights, pet care, and light housekeeping. When I was 15 years old, I became a lifeguard and swim instructor at the JCC Camps at Medford in the summer, and the YMCA in Mount Laurel & Moorestown Community House during the school year. When I was 18, I nannied for a newborn (5 months old) & 2 year old for a year, full time. I was hands on with pace-feeding bottles, changing diapers, reading books, rocking to sleep, pick ups from pre-school, pet care, house keeping, meal-prep and activities. When I was 21, I nannied for an 8 year old child with Autism for 2 years. I have 15+ years experience of care-taking, with children of all ages. I now am a stay at home mom to my 5 year old son who is starting Kindergarten this coming year. I am available weekdays from 10am-2:30pm. It is my goal to be a long term nanny for one family.
